Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumEverything is perfect!
A magnificent house run by a wonderful couple. Everything is tastefully decorated and equipped with high-quality amenities. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the hospitality is second to none. Unfortunately, we couldn't take full advantage of all the accommodation had to offer, as we only stayed for one night. But if we return to the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay several days with Marina and her charming husband. Draguc is a mysterious little town that holds the secret of its magnificent frescoes. For food or shopping, head to the nearby village. Bistro & Caffe Bar "Glorijet" is perfect for a good burger and fries in a warm, local atmosphere.

United StatesCasa Stella has updated amenities and is tastefully decorated. Hosts are friendly, helpful, responsive (via WhatsApp) and paid attention to small details to make our stay comfortable. Property is very clean and roomy for our family of 3, with a washer and dryer. We highly recommend Casa Stella if you want to see the Istrian hill villages. You will need a car (with GPS) and you can park right outside the house. Draguc itself is a charming tiny village with medieval churches and well preserved religious frescoes.

GermanyA pity that the only cafe in the village is closed.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place and the hosts took the time to receive us the day we arrived, explaining and recommending places we could go to. We even got a bottle of welcome juice and pastries and our daughter got a basket of sweets. We got to hang out with the village cats, and the locals were all very welcoming. If you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this will be a perfect place to be. The nearest supermarket/ restaurant is just a 10 minute ride away.

United KingdomLocation is remote with no restaurants, cafe or grocery shops in the immediate vicinity. You have to travel 7.5km to the nearest village to get anything.
Excellently maintained property with all facilities and the hosts took care that everything was meticulous. Air conditioning in every room, kitchen and toilets, washing machine, dryer etc...really liked it there.

DenmarkThe hosts Marina and Zeljko are very helpful and kind. Casa Stella is newly very well renovated and match the fine old building. You have everything you need and it is very clean. Peaceful and cozy atmosphere both in the house and the village. Taking an evening walk in the quiet narrow streets you will hear the church bell from the tower at the village square and be presented to the most stunning panoramic views. This is such a lovely place - a true hidden treasure - we strongly recommend a stay here. We hope to come back some day.

LithuaniaWe had a very authentic experience staying in this apartment and this little town of Draguč. The apartment ifself is well equipped with everything you need, spacious, clean. The hosts were really pleasant and gave us a friendly welcome. The town is very small, with a few old stone streets and four churches. It is a place for those who want to spend some days of a unique holiday, without tourists (or people in general). You can literally sit on your street and drink coffee with local cats. We really enjoyed our time here!

CroatiaNestled in the quaint village of Draguć, our chosen accommodation was nothing short of spectacular, offering a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities that left us thoroughly impressed. From the moment we stepped into the apartment, it was clear that every detail had been carefully curated to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay. The apartment itself boasts beautifully decorated interiors, featuring high-quality furniture that combines style with comfort. The bedding was plush and inviting, ensuring restful nights after days spent exploring the scenic surroundings. The kitchen was a highlight for us, equipped with top-notch appliances that made cooking a delight rather than a chore. What truly set our experience apart were our hosts, who greeted us with the warmest of welcomes and refreshments. Their hospitality was genuine and thoughtful, making us feel right at home from the very beginning. They were also a treasure trove of local tips and stories that enriched our understanding and appreciation of the area. Draguć is a hidden gem, a small village that exudes charm and friendliness. Its people are exceptionally welcoming, adding to the overall sense of community and warmth. The village's location is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in nature. The tranquility and natural beauty of the area provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. For anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with a touch of luxury in Istria, this accommodation in Draguć comes highly recommended. It offers not only a place to stay but a delightful experience that connects you with the heart of Istrian culture and hospitality.

EstoniaThe house has just been restored. A house with a dignified history has been renovated with heart. The interior is very beautiful and absolutely everything you need, is there ( air conditioner, dishwasher, dryer, washing machine and everything else. Also hair dryer in both bathrooms ). Everything was very clean and comfortable. Impressively tasteful interior design. Marina and Željko received us very friendly - shared good advice, were available when needed and the gift of a bottle of wine in the fridge, was very nice. Casa Stella also located in a stunningly beautiful mountain village - what views! Sunset and sawing cicades in the evening... 100 meters away is small pizzeria. One of the best pizzas - hot, crispy and delicious! Parking was safe. Beautiful surroundings and a peaceful, private stay. We highly recommend Casa Stella!
