Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThere were charges for sun beds and umbrellas on the beach front. 10 euro each. The gym and wellness centre is not open until 1 pm. No oven, microwave, or kettle in accommodation.
Great location. Accommodation was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which were spacious. A large decking area. Lots of shades from the trees. Not a very busy area.. The restaurant on the camp site was lovely. Another restaurant across from the campsite is also very good. 2 small supermarkets for small items and 2 bakery's. Campsite on beach front. The kids' pool and a slightly larger pool are very clean. 10 mins in an Uber into Split.

NetherlandsI booked this camping because all the facilities they offered, beachfront, pools, spa/wellness, jacuzzi, gym, sup rental, yoga lessons. However none of these were available during our stay 23-30th April. A few days before our arrival they mentioned that the spa/wellness area was closed until June 1st and the pools opened based on management decision. We were hoping at least that the kid's pool would be open, but as soon as we arrived they informed us that all pools were closed. I went to check and Indeed these were all empty and not even the saunas or jacuzzi were open. What a disappointment for our kids, the playground there is very small and for very young children. Other than the beach, there was nothing to do there but sleeping in our cabin. Which by the way doesn't have a coffee maker or kettle (although it was mentioned as one of the facilities). Thus, you can have coffee at the restaurant after 8 am but they don't have breakfast. Kitchen opens at 12.00. They also offered towels on the booking however they only handed 1 hand towel per person. When we asked for larger towels they said that we had to pay extra. No BBQ available. No oven or microwave, only a few kitchenware (1 frying pan, 2 pans). Very expensive as everything was closed.
The facility is quite new and well maintained. The premium cabins are close to the beachfront and the areas are very quiet with green scenery. The gardens are beautiful. There's a supermarket with freshly baked bread and croissants every day. The beach is nice for the kids but make sure you all get acqua shoes as there's no sand. The cabins are comfortable but small. Beds are comfortable. Dogs are welcomed. There are a couple of other supermarkets, bakeries and fruit shops nearby. Lidl is just 4 min drive.

Czech RepublicI personally don't like the request to keep one ID card on reception during the whole stay. Fortunately the personal was ok with leaving the money deposit instead.

United KingdomThe WiFi wasn’t very good, they were building new cabins behind ours and it was quite noisy at times especially early in the morning. Some of the facilities were still closed, play ground, ice cream bar, kids club, which would have enhanced the experience even more. Nevertheless we still had a great time and will definitely come back.
The facilities were amazing, the pools were perfect for the kids, and the beach was lovely. The park and landscaping all around made for a really beautiful place. The deck outside our cabin was great and the cabin was clean and comfortable, and met our basic needs. The super market on site was great and had fresh baked croissants and bread daily! A short 10 minute Uber ride into Split, great location. Also the restaurant on site food was amazing!

IrelandTowels provided were very small, the pools were not open which was disappointing considering there was no information about them being closed before booking and when I contacted about the spa I was informed they were unsure if would be open or not so unsure what determines their decision.
Loved the location, beautiful area with beautiful scenery. Great Caffè bars nearby and easy access to split centre via bus for only €2.

United KingdomIt advertises towels, it had 4 hand towels for a weeks stay for 4. The bedding provided is extremely basic, a bit better than UK prison but not much. No kettle, no microwave. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and looked, by the stains, as if someone had died on it in a radioactive event.
Its a lovely site and location. The river walk which is just around the corner is superb. 15 minutes into Split on the number 60 express mini bus for 2 Euros per person each way. Shopping Mall 6 Euros in an Uber. Supermarkets are even more expensive than the UK but there are quite a few within a 5 minute walk from the site. Beach, surroundings and views are beautiful. Some cracking takeaways near the site. The big veranda/porch or whatever you like to call it is nice to sit and relax. For very little costs they can sort the problems below.

United KingdomWe stayed in an older mobile home. If we stayed again we would upgrade in hope of more luxury. The sheets didn’t fit the mattress, there was no kettle, only a saucepan pot to boil water. Bring mosquito repellent.
The location and strobec has lovely beaches and local restaurants. The campsites beaches, pool and the shop were great. The restaurant had lovely food and views. The mobile homes are set in pine trees and lovely gardens creating welcome shade. Uber or local bus was the best way to get to split from the campsite entrance.

North MacedoniaNoise in official quiet hours, mostly from restoraunt stuff that was transporting waste in trolleys after 11pm. Verry annoying. Mobile houses are to densed, no privacy. Our house was full with dust in blankets and sofa. There was missunderstanding about bed sheet and towel change. It was told that they change them on 7th day. We stayed 9nights/ 10 days, nothing happened. Explanation was that towels abd sheets are changed every 7th day, but only if you stay 14+ days... Hmmm
Location, kids friendly place with playgrounds and shallow water, shops, restoraunts, fishmarket, village close by, bus stop.
