Booze & Snooze Social Hostel has an amazing vibe, a great location, and the perfect atmosphere for meeting new people. But the most surprising part was meeting Maria Eduarda from the staff, who is also from Porto Velho, Rondônia, just like me. We ran into each other all the way in Dubrovnik. Excellent service and such a positive energy.

The accommodation was good and comfortable. The facilities were adequate. The social environment was friendly. The hostel organised good activities for socialising. Cooling was good throughout the day.

Doesn't have kitchen, even though they say they have in the hostel description. They barely have plates or cutlery. Microwave, kettle and fridge are at reception, which is close most of the time.

As it is “Booze and Snooze” there was a lot of drinking. The room smelled badly of alcohol as no one had ventilated the room before I checked in. Stayed like this all night as the windows were not opened between me exploring and returning in the evening (as air conditioning was on and there was a man sleeping during the day). Another guest vomited in our designated bathroom, meaning 3 of us girls had to shower in an ensuite bathroom of another room as the staff had to wait until the next morning for cleaners to clean it. You can fill up water bottle in the sink on the deck until 9pm, then the gate is locked and your only option is the bathroom sink (which 1. My bottle doesn’t fit under, 2. I think is a bit gross, and 3. Was locked as someone had spewed in it.) No cooking facilities, though there is a fridge to store food. No curtains on bed. Locker not big enough to store suitcase

Great location. Very social hostel, but it is heavy on alcohol. Staff were great about returning a lost item to me. Good price too, but depends on what you can put up with.

There wasn’t any soap in the bathrooms for showers, so you’ve had ti bring your own.

I really liked the cooperation with Charlie’s bar. Made it really easy to meet fellow travelers. Also the location couldn’t be any better!

My bed was next to the door, every time someone come in to the room, they kick my bed and I get awake, there is not enough space for that bed. No lockers. Extremely noisy.
