Room service was very poor and the choice of meal options to eat in like burgers/pizzas (i.e. for teenage boys who cant be bothered to walk into th villages). Was very limited. Some of the staff were not keen to help always and often things had to be chased up. EG I ordered black tea from the pool bar and asked for milk, it came without which I pointed out as it was brought to the table, after 15 minutes i had to go back in again and get the milk myself from the bar staff (3 of them standing doing not much). Not a major problem but that sort of thing was repeated a number of times.

We stayed in a premium room that had a balcony with 2 sun beds in the block just above the swim up rooms where our sons had a room. The room was very well sound proofed. In the 2 weeks I didnt hear any annoying noise/other guests/rowdy bar noise or anything. Probably one of the quietest rooms ever. The location between the two villages/towns of Brela and Baska connected by a pedestrian sea side pavement walk was perfect. The walk into Baska was a little easier. There were some steps on the path into Brela.

Valet parking – the car is not parked in front of the hotel and parking is charged extra, which is not clearly mentioned anywhere. Usually, 5-star hotels offer a kids’ room or entertainment area for younger and older children, which we missed a bit here. And one last small note – sunbeds and umbrellas are not included and need to be paid for.

Beautiful location, a wonderful terrace at the restaurant, and live music every evening in the hotel bar – yet the atmosphere remains calm and relaxed whenever you want it. There’s also a water park for children nearby, which is a great bonus for families.

It is the only hotel I have ever stayed in, that doesn’t provide milk for the tea and coffee in your room. You have to ask for it! No waiter service round the pool. No small snacks at pool bar, just large portions.

We had a issue with water pouring from the balcony above. The staff seemed to think it could be mopped up and that would be problem solved but it was dripping all morning. So we had to go to reception a few times. I did feel they were not that helpful and got the impression we should have just put up with it. We wanted to sit on the balcony but could not due to the dripping causing splashes. Fortunately the concierge ( can't remember her name but thank you again!) heard this conversation and intervened and with a bit of backwards and forwards negotiations they finally found us another room. I felt this could have been solved by just offering another room at the start the hotel was far from full.

Lovely hotel on the beach (pebble) clear waters and great views from your sunbeds. Lots of different spaces to lie on, some beds by pool others down a level overlooking sea. Food was good - not a great choice for veggies. Pool looked nice although didn't go in. Towels supplied for the sunbeds. A lot of steps so not ideal for people with mobility issues for children's buggies. Steps lead down to the beach and walkway that leads to a fantastic beach bar with deck chairs and great music to sit and watch the world go by. The walkway also leads you to the centre of Bask Voda where there are shops and bars etc. and the harbor. Stunning scenery as always. Will be back!

A lot of the time the food was warm or cold. To many bloody steps. The wife and I have bad knees and we were told that because we booked a room with the infinity pool outside our room that we would have a separate entrance and we could also park our car behind the hotel BUT on arrival we were told that had to use the hotel entrance and EVERY BLINKING DAY WE WOULD HAVE TO CLIMB ABOUT 100 STAIRS EVERY-TIME WE LEFT OUR ROOM - not bloody happy 😡

The toalet area is far away from the pool. The pool service wasn’t very great, the first three days we didn’t see any waiters.

It has perfect location, the beach is beautiful and the infinity pool was my favourite . The room was well equipped and clean.

One small suggestion for improvement: we had three people in our room - booked for two adults plus a child; however when the "child" is a teenager, it would be great to include amenities for them as well.

During our recent stay at this hotel, we were genuinely impressed by the location, facilities, and services. The staff were incredibly hardworking and really made our short vacation special. If only we had more days to enjoy it! Now, I know some folks say this isn't a "real" 5-star hotel. But let's be honest, some people are all about the glitz and glamour. If you're looking for a place where you can truly relax and enjoy your holiday, this is the spot. Sure, there are stairs to navigate the scenic mountain-side location, but those views are totally worth it. And yes, it's great for families with kids too. Just remember, this isn't Disneyland, so manage your expectations accordingly. We heard some complaints about mosquitoes and pets, but we didn't encounter any issues. If bugs or pets, or life in general is not your thing, maybe it's best to stay home. Kudos to the hotel for handling all sorts of guest demands with such patience. Special shoutout to Milenka for keeping our room spotless! All in all, this hotel offers a delightful and refreshing vacation experience. The dedicated staff and stunning location make it a place we'd highly recommend. So, pack your bags an d get ready for a balanced and fulfilling stay!

External noise continues each night until at least 1 a.m. There are many very small children, resulting in a lot of noise and screaming during breakfast, dinner, and by the pools. If you are looking for a quiet vacation, this is not it.
