The property has an excelent location, very close to the Makarska beach and other grocery stores, bakeries. The parking place was right next to our appartment, which was very convenient when traveling as a family. The appartment was clean and well equiped, the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed the big terrace, it was quite nice to relax there at the end of the day. There is also a laundry room that has everything you need if you have a longer stay. The owners are very friendly and helpfull, when we left, my kid left a stuffed toy behind, that was really important for him. And the owners wrote to us offering to have the toy sent by mail to us, because they said they knew what emotional value a toy can have to a kid sometimes. Very nice!

My comment regarding the cities along the coast in tha region- if you are travelling with someone who has limited mobility or without a car - please mind locations of the booking as there may be a lot of uphill walking involved back from the sea.

We had a lovely one week stay at this place, we rented a studio that was impeccably clean, kitchen had everything needed for a longer stay with even more appliances and supplies that we expected. There is a washing machine and an ironing board on the floor for guests to use. Hosts were great and friendly, upon leaving we received a hug and a bag full of souvenirs to remember Makarska. Parking in the shade, balcony. Good quality for the price and a solid base to explore the region. Please take shampoo with you, we stayed for the first time in the home for rent so I was not aware we need to take it with us, but I got one in the store. A few times we went out for breakfast in Makarska harbour. We went by car most of the time, parking was not an issue. Thank you

The apartment is large, bright, modern, very clean, equipped with everything you need. The apartment also has two air conditioners, 2 balconies, one of them is very large and equipped with a sofa and 2 armchairs, very comfortable. There is also a shared laundry room with a washing machine and an ironing board. So, we really felt at home. And the owners, hats off, are hospitable and ready to help you at any time.

It is run by a very nice and kind family that welcomes you ☺️ thank you for having us! The room is comfy and it has a cozy porch where you can have breakfast/lunch/dinner with a kitchenette. There's parking too. We stayed just for a night but we really liked stopping here and the town is beautiful and charming. Don't miss out the walking path that takes you from the town beach to Nugal beach - it has wonderful views all the way and the beach itself once you arrive is delightful.

Our stay at the Blue House was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond words—truly something you need to experience for yourself. The apartment is perfect, fully equipped with everything we needed. We felt completely at home; the owners treated us like family, welcoming us with a homemade drink. The apartment was incredibly peaceful and impeccably clean, with a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The owners went above and beyond, even driving us to the bus station. We were touched by their thoughtful gifts of keychain magnets and homemade liquor. If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your serene Blue House! 🥰

I would fully recommend. The owners are a lovely couple and the appartement is spaceous and had a nice balcony. A great place to relax, depart from to hike in the mountains or to stay for your beach and snorkling holiday. Bakery and grocery stores at walking distance. If we would come back to the region, we would stay here again.

The only thing I could say is the location because it’s up a big hill but I wouldn’t let that put you off because the views are amazing.

Beautiful apartment. The balcony has an amazing view and great sofa with coffee table to hang out at. So much space in the apartment. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the town centre and up a big hill on the way back (but most of Makarska is on hills). Our hosts Zrinka and Ivan couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. They gave us lovely gifts at the end of our stay to take home too. 10/10 recommend.
