GermanyInside: the air-condition in the rooms is running only on-off-on-off…. at lowest lever, which can be annoying, if you don‘t want to have it run at level 2 or 3. - The lighting system for the toilet is equipped with a sensor, which immediately illuminates the room. When using the toilet at night this is not really welcomed by your sleeping other, if you are not travelling alone….Also the shower and bath area cannot be lightened separately, which is sub-optimal. Small things to be fixed. Outside: Unfortunately there is no access to a hotel beach or chill area, with exception of the lower inner court of the SPA (which is very nice!). This would be a real top-up asset, as the overall opportunities to have a decent level chill out area on the sea side are rather poor in Novigrad.
Great pick-up and transfer service to the parking. A very nicely equipped design hotel with a high standard of interior. Nice personnel and excellent service. Beautiful sea-view and very nice setting. Very good breakfast and an excellent restaurant linked to the hotel.

We stayed for almost 2 weeks and loved it. Dog friendly hotel. Hotel has remote parking but they shuttle you to and from your car. Beds are amazing.

CroatiaWe were there in their first week since opening so I guess staff was still getting used to their working environment. Some dishes coming from the kitchen took longer than expected, even simple ones, but I guess (hope) they are faster now. One thing to keep in mind: hotel is in pedestrian zone, so hotel parking is some 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. They of course do have electric cars to drive you to and from the hotel.
Location is perfect. In the old town, but just few meters from the sea. Every room has beautiful view to the see. You look through huge windows and see only sea (and some ships). Breakfast was great. Rooms are comfy. All staff was really friendly and trying their best.

SloveniaIt was our first time in the Blu Mare. From the photos on the site we already expected nice view and cozy hotel, but the entire experience actually exceeded our expectations. Started by transport from the parking place by golf cart and continued with most gracious hosts on entry, which also welcomed our dog with a smile. Furthermore - truly welcoming and talkative bartender along with entire staff. Room was spacious and smelled as fresh woodwork. Sea view directly from bed was just awesome.
