How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing really.
The location was excellent. Very central. Apartment was clean, breakfast was very good in a bistro a few steps away with very good options and nice atmosphere. Some noise at night time but it didn’t bordered us.

The aircon sometimes didn’t fully cool down the room so it was quite hot and the curtains didn’t keep much light out in the morning

We only stayed one night but the room was really well facilitated, clean and very comfortable. The location was close to all the restaurants and in the old area of Split. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Absolutely nothing.
Very modern, exactly as shown in pictures, cosy and stylish. Breakfast nearby, Baza goes hand in hand with the apartment. Recommend.

The apartment is located near a main pedestrian street. I woke up frequently during first night due to noisy people on the street, but I got used to in the rest of my stay.
Centrally located and recently renovated apartment. I booked it together with breakfast. I could choose in a near bar in a hot drink and one plate. Bathroom has shower, lavabo and separate room with toilet. It is possible to make coffee and tea in the room.

I would have liked if there was blinds in the bedroom windows and curtains in toilet to as it was very bright

I didn't link the bathroom shower area, it was see through no privacy at all when taking a shower.
The location is amazing, and room was amazing, Marina was very helpful a kept checking if we need anything

The air conditioning was weak and the door to the street of the building was always left open so created a sense of building not so secure

The pillows were too big, a bit uncomfortable.
Location is amazing! We had Breakfast included which was also really nice. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable, we had everything we needed to spend the night. And Marina let us leave the bags to collect in the evening. As we had the last flight in that day.

There is fair bit of noise till very late in the morning (3-4 PM) which is little off putting. There is also no lift which can be an issue for few travellers.
Superb apartment in an heritage building in the city centre, both old town and promenade is at a walking distance. The room was comfortable, clean and with modern facilities. Marina was really helpful in every aspect of making our stay enjoyable. Overall a great place to enjoy Split.

A bit noisy during the night.
This is an amazing place the city center. Great for exploring the city. The apartment has enough space, a great bathroom, and big windows. Comfy beds that we enjoyed a lot!

Nothing to dislike, the only thing was that we booked the only room which has a balcony because my husband likes to read and have a beer when we come in on an evening. We found that the light didn’t work so I messaged Marina and although she couldn’t get it fixed that day she got the bulb changed the day after so that was good. I think it should be on the checklist for you that room.
The location was perfect and the room was lovely and very comfortable. We booked breakfast which was at a lovely cafe bar across a road/path and the breakfast was superb

The Irish pub on the ground floor was a popular party place. And every night when they closed the party moved out in the street below us, and woke us up. But maybe that is what to expect at a very central location
