Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The landlady was so nice, hospitable and helpful. My parents went and they were so happy about this stay. From the location, facilities, they said it was like a dream!

Not a thing
We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Čiovo, Trogir! The location is excellent – just a short walk to the beach, and having a pool on-site was perfect for relaxing after a day out. The apartment was spotless, very well maintained, and housekeeping kept everything fresh throughout our stay. Old town Trogir is a 15-20 minute walk. We stayed for a whole month and hardly a day went by that we didn’t walk into town. Great for getting your steps up and digesting your dinner with the walk home. But don’t worry there is a bus stop and a water taxi very close to the apartment, as well as many restaurants and supermarkets. The host went above and beyond – from arranging our airport transfers to leaving thoughtful goodies that made us feel so welcome. Their hospitality really made the trip extra special.

Our stay from start to finish was amazing . The location of the apartment was so central to beaches restaurants and the old town of Trogir. Our host Ana and her staff were so welcoming the food and fruit they gave us throughout our stay was such a nice gesture and was very appreciated especially the charcuterie board that Ana left out for us when we arrived as our flight got in late . The apartment itself was 5 star and having it cleaned daily was a very nice bonus . So a huge thank you to Ana and all her staff for making our holiday a truly memorable experience.

We had an amazing time at this apartment in Croatia. The place was spotless – honestly, the cleanliness was exceptional, and it made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in. The location was outstanding – everything we needed was within a short walking distance, and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. What really made this stay special were all the little thoughtful touches from the host. We regularly found sweet treats and fresh fruit in the room, and on our last day, we were even surprised with a bottle of wine delivered to our door. Such a lovely gesture! We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It’s a gem!

Lovely spacious apartment extremely clean and comfortable. Great pool area. Good position for beach and travel into Trogir by boat. Ana checked in on us and provided contact details. Cake and fruit was a nice touch .

Daily room service and cleaning was very welcome. Also the little treats provided by the host most days. Any minor problems with fittings etc were fixed the same day.

It is hard to imagine anything that could have been improved upon. Note that the two nearest restaurants did not take card payment and getting money from ATM's incurred pretty heavy charges. Make sure to bring enough cash with you.
The apartment was modern, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The cleaning lady worked hard everyday to keep it spotless including changing the towels, bedding etc. Ana the host was a delight, always available if needed and every other day came to see how we were getting on and brought plates of fruit etc. And that was on top of the welcome plate of cheeses, meats etc on the first day. There is a lovely pool on site, huge terrace/balcony, a comfortable settee, large fridge freezer, a dishwasher and washing machine.(plus tabs for both). There is small supermarket, 2 minutes away, a nice beach and restaurant equally close and if you want to go to Trogir Old Town there is a frequent ferry just 5 minutes away. Or you can walk over the hill in about 30 minutes.

Perfect quiet location but within easy reach of everything. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and really well equipped, having your own space to prepare food and eat on the balcony was lovely. Ana was so helpful answering any questions we had and so friendly! We are already looking to come back next year!

The apartment was perfect in every way. Mid way between Trogir Old Town and Okrug Garni Beach. The facilities were first class and exceptionally clean. Ana was so friendly and helpful. Little surprises were unexpected and very much appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay in this gorgeous resort. We will return.

Wonderful stay. We are ecstatic after our week at Villa Aquamare. Everything was so clean and neat. Ana, the host was so nice, helpful and welcoming. The staff was lovely and small surprieses of fresh fruits and cakes every day in the fridge made the stay even better. The swimmingpool was great and clean. The location was perfect, near the beach, supermarket and restaurant. Thanks Ana for everything💕 we will come back.
