We are very happy with our stay! As our goal to Zadar is the beach, this located as close as 8 min walk to the nearest beach. But if you're looking for touristic activities and food options, not many restaurants around. bus will take you in the city in 10 min, but not very frequent. You can always walk about 30min to the city tho. So for us, it's just perfect for balancing visting and relaxing.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The room is facing their very well maintained garden. We had our breakfast at the balcony, which was very pleasant and relaxing. There is hanging rack on the balcony where we dry our swimsuit, this is a good plus and we feel the owner is being thoughtful to the place and travellers. On top of all, we feel the owner is friendly and flexible. We have a wonderful stay overall. Highly recommend.

Nice and clean apartment with two bedrooms; washing machine and grapes’n’turtles in the garden:) Short walk to restaurants and ocean. Very sweet landlady. No complaints:) Oh; and the old town, which is also just a 15-20min walk is super-nice.

Only one minus was, there were thin walls to second apartment so if there are loud guests you can hear them through the wall. Also cars in the morning, we were there in June and road in front of the apartment leads to school, so you can hear them at 07.00am if you are light sleeper

Hosts welcomed us kindly, then we had privacy. Apartment is 10minutes walk from the main beach. 20mintues walk from old centre. Nice garden, balcony is small but we used it much. Apartment is small but with everything you need. Evrything was clean and tidy, bedsheets were fresh bed was soft bud not too much soft. 100% recommend

Beautiful garden and outdoor space to sit and relax in. Compact studio apartment with a comfortable bed and a really good shower. Friendly accommodating owner. Excellent location in a lovely area with winding roads and traditional houses, close to the sea, shops, the bus station and a great restaurant. Only a short walk from the old town.

The walls were a bit thin. Nothing that affected us, because we had good neighbors apparently, but thin they are.

The place has a great location. It's only 5 minutes from the main bus station. So getting around Croatia or just to the airport is quite easy to do. We've enjoyed the little garden, and the fact there was not much traffic outside the window. The kitchen was very small but well-equiped. And the hosts were delightful too. They spoke many languages 🙂

Everything was just perfect! The place is a nice choice for its value, there were good facilities for cooking and storing different stuff and I really enjoyed the location which was close enough to the sea (about 5 mins walking) and the old town (about 20 mins) but not too close to hear the loudness of the beach partying. The lady owning the place was super kind and we really felt well-welcomed. Finally, the view from the terrace (especially in the early morning and late evening) and the green garden with mandarins are heaven. Worth visiting for sure!

The place was very small. this is not something you would want to do for more than a day or two. There was no light. I had schoolwork and there was only one overhead light that was dim. They need some lamps. The small kitchenette was workable but there was nowhere to set anything (I needed the table for my computer etc.). The TV and use of the smart TV never worked (no signal, or Netflix would simply stop running). The wardrobe was back in a corner where you couldn't see anything because of the abyss of darkness. The full-length mirror was positioned on the wardrobe in a way that you couldn't really use it (Mount it on the wall somewhere else, you have other broken items so a few screws will not matter). The shower head was broken so if I had not had zip ties to fix it myself, I would have had to hold the shower head when I took a shower (see photo). The hairdryer was also broken; it worked but you had to hold it a certain way. There was nowhere to put anything because the wardrobe was so shoved in the corner that did not make anything very accessible. They need to re-arrange this all somehow to make it more user friendly. The Wi-fi stunk; as I said, I had school papers to writer and it was very slow or would time out, so that was not cool.

I have a mixed review. I liked this place, I was only there for 2 full days however, so it is sufficient for a couple days. The bed was okay, it had everything you would need to cook a little rice or whatever. The bathroom had a few good qualities; the shower shelf was high enough that you could put your things on it (bar soap etc.) and it didn't all get soaked in water; there was plenty toilet paper; and there was a small wicker shelf/drawer unit for your toiletries. There was an outside table and drying rack, a lovely garden, and two parking spots. The location was in a quiet part of town away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to walk (or drive) to the old town (1.0 miles) the beach (0.75 mile) etc. It was very clean. The a/c worked very well, you could even change the temp without fighting with the remote. As far as value, it could have been a bit less expensive for what you got.

Zadar is quite expensive so this met our needs for location & budget - a few tweaks would give it more appeal: very tiny room. Sheets didn’t smell fresh. Had to keep shutters closed because of the mosquitoes so it became quite stuffy. Mosquito screens on windows to allow windows to be left open would make it much more pleasant. Also, travellers please be on guard for rip-off dodgy taxi drivers at Zadar bus station - one of them rushed up to us the minute we got off the bus, so we were taken off guard; he then took us to wrong the Port, where he dumped us & sped off after we insisted on his handing over our change from the large note we gave him! Lesson learnt: best to approach the taxi drivers where they wait.

We booked this accommodation for just 1 night as it was very near to the bus station & about 2km from the centre which, for us, was easily walkable, but no.2 bus takes you all the way to the beautiful central port area. On arrival we had to use a taxi because we had heavy suitcases but we later discovered a back route was close enough to pull our suitcases along when we left.
