The only thing I did not like was the lack of coffee.There is a kettle but no coffee, I had to wait to pack and check-out to get a coffee outside.

The host waited for me to check in, despite the bus coming 3 h late ,because of the control at the Bosnian-Croatian border. He gave me many tips and provided a cheap taxi number. His sister helped with carrying my luggage. The communication was excellent, and I felt welcomed and supported. The apartment is decorated in old fashion but it was very comfortable. The air conditioning was a blessing, and the bed was great, better than in some hotels. I slep very well,no night noises. The location is very central, less than 10 min walking to the Diocletian Palace and everything. There is a luggage storage nearby ,I left mine and spent the day hands-free. The apartment is very spacious, has a big fridge, and is a washer. I stayed only overnight and didn’t use the appliances but was well equipped. I am grateful to the host that he recommended not to walk ,despite it was a 10-15 min walk from the main Bus Station ,because it is an uphill walk. I split a taxi with a traveller, 12 euros: 2= 6 euros I definitely recommend this rental.

Very old fashioned. Needs a lick of paint. The bed covers were cleal but very old.

Beautiful traditional apartment, in a quiet leafy neighbourhood, very easy access to the city tourist area, 5-10 minute walk away. Very good value. Our host was very welcoming, and made us feel at home. We loved this apartment, and would stay again next time we are in Split. Thank you!

Entire house was old with old wooden furniture. There was no AC in bedroom due to which we had to sleep on floor in living room as only living room had one old AC. There was no bathroom mat and we had to clean the floor with toilet paper. The door of bath area was broken and the broken door was replace with plastic curtains with clips to be adjusted manually. We were just counting the days to leave.

The view and clean apt

Parking means you don't have to scour the city for your own parking space and pay for it. There was no parking as advertised As the bar that holds the shower curtain was failing, obviously for some time, combined with the fact that there was no holder for the shower nozzle I had the opportunity to rinse the toilet paper and bath towel prior to using them, which took my mind off the lake that had formed on the floor. Seriously, fix your shower curtain bar dude. Also I was preoccupied with the lack of parking, so when the host made change for what I paid him (cash only), I did not notice till he had left that the 12Euro I should have recieved was only 7Euro But I got no receipt so whatever. Also the photos online looked better than reality. The more that a place shows the local attractions in the photos the more They don't want you to see the actual space. It was a bit of a dive for the money. But to be fair to the host, the place was fairly clean and the location was actually fabulous, as you just rolled down the hill a few blocks and you were in the magical palace.

Smelled a bit of cigarettes It was noisy at night, but this could be a one off and maybe we were unlucky We were woken twice during the night, once by people outside and once by someone banging next door and shouting

Very tired, old facilities, joint entrance with another apartment which was very loud when they came in. Bathroom moldy and very old. Very loud road with cars/bikes revving up and down playing music and single pane glass so woken up constantly.

Easy to walk to split town and find. Check I'm was easy as older lady was there waiting for us.
