It was a little cold sometimes inside, but it's just a detail.

The owner welcomed us at our arrival, she was adorable. The appartment was very clean, with a lovely balcony to have breakfast under a beautiful tree.

A washing machine would have been great, but we understand the reason why there isn’t one. That said we were recommended a very good launderette in town.

We stayed in the Kala apartment and found it to be light, bright, airy and spacious. The apartment is very central, a ten minute walk to the beach/town, with a supermarket literally next door, and a pharmacy around the corner. There is also a very nice bakery about a two minute walk away from the apartment. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was very comfortable. George and Ivana are very charming, helpful and accommodating hosts, who we felt really wanted us to have a good and comfortable stay in Split.

There was nothing to dislike about this property, unless you don't like stairs. But, this is to be expected so close to the city.

Location was perfect. George made arrival really simple and shared useful insights into Split and the surrounding islands. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed, with the beach and city centre both within a 10-minute walk, and a shop literally next door.

Location - thats what I feel is most important thing when you travel as tourist. This apartment is just 12 min away by walk to Split Ferry Terminal, Bus / rail station which makes it very convenient. Supermarket is next to apartment block 😃 Apartment has most of the facilities one could think of as a tourist Last but not least - Mr George and his wife are really great hosts. They not only gave us warm welcome but also handed over small gift to my wife. George was just text away whenever I needed him for any help.

Couldn't say anything bad about it

This is a gem of a place to stay. Only a few minutes walk from the old town and George and his lovely wife were on hand for anything they could help you with. Gave us tips on where to go and were so lovely. You will not want for anything in this apartment it has everything and is spotless clean. The bed was very comfy and is away from any outside noise. It had a beautiful little balcony that catches the evening sun. We totally enjoyed our stay and hope to return to Split again. We will 100% stay here. Note.. not for anyone with mobility issues as there is quite a few steps up to it, but we didn't mind that. Thanks again to you both, Veronica and Pat

There was nothing we weren’t happy about.😊

The hosts were very kind and helpful. On arrival they provided information about everything we needed to know and helped us with our suitcases. The apartment we stayed in was very clean, with extra towels and bedsheets too. The location was very close to the beach and the city with a supermarket just around the corner. Overall we are delighted with our stay, very affordable and comfortable. We would recommend staying here to anyone.😊

There is no washing machine in Kala.

Drains in the bathroom were a little pungent at times. Lighting in communal areas on very short timer so you need a torch at night to navigate the stairwell safely.

We have enjoyed our stay here. The room is very large and comfortable. The location is very convenient and close to the beach. It is also very quiet.Going to the city center is also very close. There is a supermarket nearby. The supermarket is very clean and the goods are complete. The owner took us to a nearby pharmacy to buy medicine . It’s very kind of them.

There was a little traffic noise but that didn't disturb me. No balcony but then there were plenty of parks nearby to sit out.

Location: close to beach, parks, all city centre attractions, markets, bus station with airport shuttle bus, ferries to Islands etc. Very clean, well equipped and spacious apartment.

Slight musky smell to the sofa. Slightly worn/uncomfortable pillows. Poor ventilation in the bathroom. Loud road (cars not people) but we did get used to it.

Really friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts (thank you Ana and Ivana) who communicated well and were attentive throughout our stay. Very clean and spacious apartment. Good parking. Conveniently located - close to supermarket, rubbish disposal, beach and town.

Though at a busy road Kaleta faces the quiet and green backyard where you can spend your evening with a glass of wine 😀 on the balcony. Sufficient equipped kitchen for a quick meal. Within walking distance to the centre (15min) and university (25min), many shops, bakery etc close by or even nextdoor. Would definitely choose it again.
