Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The value for money was seriously lacking for Croatia accomodation. Felt for the price some simple staples could have been provided such as soap, coffee etc.

Too short stay;)
There is perfect location, almost in the city centre but very quiet, the big car park space, beautiful tarras wit nice view, the apartment is specious and clean. I was delighted being there. The most important - the host was so nice and helpful, she made the stay even better, thank you! We strongly recommend Dilk appartment.

We loved the view from the balcony. Apartment was clean and close to the ferry. The hostess gave us some good tips on what to visit. Great wi-fi connection.

Literally the only thing I would add - and it’s something very small and superficial, is a full-length mirror but it’s also not a true necessity- just a little luxury for girls :)
Its perfect for 2 friends (or a couple!) with everything you could need.

Honestly, nothing to complain about.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is specious, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. Our host, Marinka, gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly helpful throughout our stay-always ready to assist, share useful local information, and make sure we felt at home. Her kindness truly made a difference.

Fairly close to main road. A little traffic noise, but totally managabe.
Very attentive host. Met us personally after late ferry arrival. Clean spacious appartment with multiple sleeping options for a family with teenagers.

The location wasn’t ideal as difficult to get to it with luggage - but overall the actual location was quite close to the ferry and the town.
We were able to check in early - and it was clean.

Everything about the apartment was amazing, great check in communication from Marinka who was close by if we needed anything. Exceptionally clean lovely apartment with everything you need. We stayed in apartment #7 - Even though it is spacious and sleeps 5 people, that number of people can’t really expect a lot of privacy. There is a single bedroom with a queen size bed. One additional bed is placed in a hallway between the bedroom and the living room, while two sofa beds are in the living room.
The place is clean and the host is very welcoming and nice. The apartment is very well equipped, offering a washing machine, dishwasher, AC, and all of the pots, pans, and utensils you may need.

The room is a little bit small, but not a big issue. For a tall person it can be a bit difficult to sit properly on the toilet seat since the bathroom door is so close to the seat.
Clean and nice room. The host met us at the property and helped us. She or another person was always at the house next door if we had questions. Great AC. The place is a bit away from town but it is perfect since its calm and close to a KONZUM and the beach. Short nice walk to town.

Very close to the port and centre of town. Great balcony overlooking gardens and other properties. Compact but very comfortable with 2 electric rings and well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Enough hanging and drying space.

The floors in both the rooms and the living room were not clean. The bed linen was not made. It would have been nice to have left at least a few packets of coffee or tea, rather than nothing.
The location is fine. Everything is relatively close, but everything is like that on Vis anyway.
