How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The most grate was location and nice room. In 5 minutes walk to any place. The breakfast was easy to get at the morning around and with good options. The Owner provided very good about parking locations and helped to take the luggage to the room

We booked at the very last moment in the evening (due to flight issues) but the hosts were responding immediately and we were given a warm welcome when we arrived shortly after. They were very accommodating and helpful to us, also the next day when we had to leave for the airport again. The apartment was very comfortable. It's located very centrally in Trogir, but it's very quiet outside, even on a Friday night. The Air-conditioning works perfectly and due to the shutters it can get properly dark inside. Thanks to Guesthouse Ana our flight problems turned into a nice stay in Trogir! If we are ever back in Trogir, we will make sure to book this place again :)

Very nice, cosy and very clean place! The owner is a wonderful person, she picked me up from the parking space and showed me the best one. So helping and nice. You are in the middle of the old town, everything is reachable by foot.

The upstairs bed wasn’t super comfortable and the A/C unit quite noisy.
It was central and big enough for a family of 4. The flat was clean and spacious. We only spent one night there so didn’t stay very long. Ana was wonderful at accommodating a very late booking.

Noise from the streets at the night time. Very expensive drinks/food in old town.

The filter in A/C needs cleaning, when we were using it, our noses got stuffed quickly (we are allergic to dust). Other then that, everything was perfect!
Great part of town, even though you are in the heart of old town, it is quiet and there are hardly any tourist going around. Host Ana is great and communicates very nicely. Everything was clean and well prepared

The location of the property was amazing! And even though it is located very near to a main street, you don’t hear anything in the evening. Air conditioning was also available at the property which was a real life saver during the hot summer nights!

Lovely well appointed apartments in the charming old town. The air conditioning was much appreciated. We didn’t hire a car, which was a great decision as moving around by taxi and ferry was very pleasurable.

This apartment is in the very center of Trogir, giving you easy access to the ancient city as well as the bus station and the boats. This tiny house has everything you need. We had breakfast in the apartment. We loved the ancient walls combined with the modern design. The photos show exactly how it looks in reality. Our days were very hot and the AC did its job. The temperature was very nice if we left the AC on while we were away. Ana is a very nice, and kind person. She gave us tips and was always prepared to help us out if we had needed. All together felt we got a lot of value for our money. We would love to go back if ever in Trogir again.

Possibly a few more basic utensils in the kitchen would be useful, though if there is anything you need, feel free to let Ana know and she will drop it off as she did for us. Bathroom has v low ceilings.
Fabulous location. Air-conditioned. Ana was so lovely and helpful especially with car parking, meeting us at the car park so we could park without paying, as Trogir is v expensive that way! Lovely quiet location, in the attic of a building down an atmospheric narrow street. Pretty and thoughtfully decorated. Overall we liked it very much and it is great value, would come back.

I have 195cm. Bad had steel bars, which one I kicked by hole night. Exept this, everything was great.
