This would apply to most places in the old town - it’s a bit of climb up stairs for those with large suitcases, so be prepared. We had carry on only so it was totally fine and it was worth it!!!

Location is in the old city, great views of the city and castle walls. Spacious, well appointed and very comfortable apartment. Kitchen is fully equipped, so if you really wanted to, you could meal prep there rather than going out. It didn’t say in the description, but there is laundry just outside the apartment door. This place is amazing- we were surprised by how perfect everything about it was! Best place we stayed at on our entire European trip!

Needs an easy chair or other seating besides the couch, and the outside light shining through the front door is an issue— need to keep bedroom door open b/c AC is in kitchen. Luckily I sleep with blackout mask so not a problem for me. Be aware there are lots of stairs to reach unit! But probably true for most any place inside the walled city.

Great location and well furnished with amenities. Lovely hostess Zorayana gave us homemade goodies and helped with laundry, also supplied a beach towel on request. Bed, towels, hot water and water pressure all great and comfortable, also good coffee. Quiet after 11-12, which worked for us. We enjoyed our stay.

It comes with staying in old town: exhausting to walk up to with luggage especially in the heat of summer. But We were ready and left one suitcase in the car.

oh the stairs, but you know what? dubrovnik had stairs lots of stairs. it's only an issue if you have large heavy bags to carry. thinking about it, I might leave my heavy bags at a luggage storage on the flat and just take what I need to my rooms.. of course they have a porter service if you need it

I loved the fact they made sure you had the basics, eg oil, salt, pepper, coffee, I loved the gift packages. I loved the washing machine. we had plenty of room for our 3 days and could easily have cooked to save some $ or because we were bored eating out. i loved living in an alleyway for a few days. so close to everything, private after the tour groups leave. your own paradise

Nothing, it’s faultless

This is the most amazing apartment. Fantastic views, great location, good facilities including a dishwasher and some of the best WiFi I’ve had on holiday. The place was faultless, the owners were very helpful, kind and friendly. I was even left a very nice bottle of wine! The apartments feel modern inside even if the city is centuries old and it’s a great place to be to explore the old town

Excellent location to explore the old town

I knew being in the Old City that access would possibly be challenging, and navigating the stairs certainly gave my legs a good workout.

I contacted the host and was able to access the apartment earlier than expected. The directions given were great, with the photos helpful. The apartment was comfortable, with everything I needed. I was given assistance with my luggage when I left, even though it was 6am. I really enjoyed my stay.

- advertised with AC but only has AC in the main living area not the bedroom - bathroom door wouldn’t shut nor lock - no 24 hour reception as advertised - bad check in experience- we contacted the property to alter our check in time as we were arriving at 11am. The appartment accepted this check in time though booking and said we were welcome to drop our bags at the apartment. Upon arrival no one answered the door to which we had to call a 3rd party number, the host came out and was extremely rude, raising her voice at us, claiming we were breaking the “house rules” by being there early. We had just come from a flight, lugged our suitcases around the old town so we’re keen to change but couldn’t get out of there fast enough after our “welcome”. There was no need to be so rude when they had clearly accepted our “early check in request”.

As we were a mother and daughter pair, I would have liked separate sheets and pillows for the sofa bed, as this was not provided. It was quite noisy at night with people passing, perhaps earplugs could be provided. Everything else was great!

Clean, good location and close to main sights. Compact and plenty of little touches that made our stay all the more special. We loved the Visnja cherry brandy taster, and the coated almonds. We loved the area, it was beautiful and the apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable.

The steps are the only drawback, however it's not an issue in truth. You're staying in Dubrovnik old town, what do you expect! It's all part of the experience!
