Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is very quiet and we enjoyed a good sleep! The room is very well prepared with clean bedding and water. We are quite happy with every service done by the friendly host and his colleagues. It was a nice decision to live here in Split!

Everything was fine
Villa Spalato apartment is located very close to the old center of Split and all of its attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. We had a very pleasant stay and Frane was very friendly and helpful. He gave us quite in advance instructions on how to get into the flat, which was good because of the small alleys and streets in Split. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. There was a functioning AC, which is mandatory for this time of the year. Frane also gave us tips and advice on things to do around Split. Also, the apartment was very silent at night. We had no trouble sleeping

Great location in the heart of the old town. Close to all the best food and drink spots. Great communication from super friendly host Frane. Check in and check out were super easy. Apartment was super clean with brilliant air con and a comfy bed. Highly recommend.

While we loved having a bath, it wasn’t in the bathroom. It was next to the bed! It would have been great if there was a divider between the bath and the bedroom area🙂.
Terrific location. Quiet and very comfortable. Apartment was spotless. Bed and bedding were lovely. Frane is fantastic — met us and told us everything we needed to know about the apartment and the surrounding area.

It was all really great!
Frane is an amazing host. So easy to deal with and more than happy to answer any questions you may have. He even went through the trouble of gifting us a bottle of wine and some chocolates because we were here for my girlfriend's birthday! (Both of which were incredible by the way) Thank you again for that Frane it was a really nice touch! The property is in an incredible location, everything is literally on your doorstep which was so handy. It had everything you could possibly need inside for a comfortable stay. I would recommend anyone to stay here that is looking to stay in the heart of it all!

Could not really fault anything. The bedroom is a bit tight for space but it you are only sleeping in it so not an issue.
Excellent apartment 2 mins walk into the heart of the old town of Split. Very clean and tidy apartment with secure access into a forecourt area. Frane who was our host was very helpful and always replied to our messages very quickly. Frane also arranged our transfers to and from the airport both of which were very comfortable and on time.

The apartment was really nice and included spacious kitchen with necessary kitchen equipment. Excellent location right next to the old town, yet still peaceful. It was really lovely to stay here for several days, and we would highly recommend this apartment.

Super central to the Centre of town. Modern amenities and good air conditioning! The host was friendly and professional. We were allowed to store our luggage before check in, which was very helpful.

Look no further for the perfect home away from home in Split. Located within walking distance from all of the main attractions and a stone’s throw from the taxi rank, bars/restaurants and a small supermarket, the apartment was a delight - one of the most stylish and well equipped I have ever stayed in! Frane & Luka really have thought of everything, such as dressing gowns, beach towels, tupperware/bottles for your beach picnic, even pegs to dry your wet clothes on the line outside the windows! It was a nice change to have an in person check in - Luka made us feel really welcome, briefly showed us around the apartment and spoke with pride about the renovations. I would really highly recommend this place and would like to extend thanks to Frane & Luka for being excellent hosts with a superb apartment.
