How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We had a great stay! The apartment was fully furnished, very clean, and had everything we needed. The landlord was extremely kind and helpful — she even allowed us to check in early and drop off our luggage in advance, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, with several amenities nearby (shops, cafes, etc.). We would definitely recommend this place!

The owners mom came to meet us and was so kind and helpful. She had saved us a spot for our car in the free car park. We enjoyed our stay here, I thought the old town would be close enough to walk but we took the car each time we went.

My husband had not warm water, I was the first and it was ok, but he did not.
Great location (15 minutes far away from Diocletian palace), we had free parking spot, the temperature was good without air conditioner even outside was hot, the room was clean and we had silence and privacy.

All was fine. Only be aware that the parking is on a street in a residential area. We had no problem findning a place very close to the entrance, but with a worse luck it may be available only further away.
Clean, comfortable. Good wi fi. As described and presented on photos, Nice host. Only 15 minutes by foot to the historical Split center.

The apartment is at lower level if not basement but comfortable. The host was responsive, approachable. The city centre is 1.5kms. Supermarkets nearby

A roomy well appointed apartment with a very polite and informative hostess. Emine was prompt with her replies and helped with questions re local transport. The apartment was very clean and easy to locate. Comfy bed and pillows. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you.

The room is a half-basement, so there's not a lot of natural sunlight through the window, but it's fine for a short stay.
Really clean and comfortable stay. There was a small kitchen and nearby supermarkets. The walk to old town is about 20 minutes and downhill going there.

One of the stoves was not functioning so it made cooking a bit longer, but If you don't plan on cooking during your stay, it's not really a problem. I am sure the host will fix it after our stay :) And the apartment is on the 0 floor so it can get a bit muggy after being out all day. Make sure to open the window to air out when you can. Other than that, everything was great!
The location of the apartment is excellent. It's in a quieter area but not so far from the centre. There are several grocery stores, coffee shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The host is super friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment comes with a kitchen, which was convenient for us because my partner is a vegetarian, and the food in Split was mostly meat-heavy.

Would like a dryer as it rained & we travelled away with wet clothing. A microwave would also be useful.
Walkable distance to bus stop, small convenience store, old town. Owners very cheerful, helpful & accommodating. Nice hot water & pressure. Washing machine.

Great location and value for money. Ermina stayed up to greet us even though we were delayed. A local shop 2 minutes from the apartment provided a great range of provisions. With the cooking facilities, a washing machine plus Internet we had everything we needed for our stay. The old city was less than 20 minute walk and also the same to the beach. If we ever visit Split again will definitely book with Ermina again 😊

We stayed for only one night (prior to our flight the next day), but this place would be a good reasonably priced apartment for a solo traveller or couple, within walking distance of the old city (20 min).
Simple no frills apartment. Small but essentials like cooking condiments available. Good strong shower. Clean.
