There was nothing not to like!

We had the most wonderful stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The accommodation is part of a family home, and you can really see how much care and love this family put into hosting their guests. Our room was spotless and cleaned to such a high standard, with fresh sheets provided every two days, which made the stay so comfortable. On arrival, we were greeted with a generous plate of meat, cheese, pickles and fresh bread, plus wine waiting in the fridge – such a thoughtful and personal touch that really set the tone for our stay. The location itself is absolutely beautiful, with spectacular views over Makarska that we never got tired of. Both rooms we stayed in had lovely balconies where we could sit and take in the scenery, and everything about the apartment felt peaceful and cared for. One moment that really showed the hosts’ kindness was when we accidentally forgot our checkout time in the first room. We were halfway up a mountain and very stressed, but they were so understanding and patient with us, and we are so grateful for their generosity and calmness in that situation. This family truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home, and their warmth and hospitality made our trip even more special. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Makarska, we would stay here again without a second thought.

We booked the apartment on the ground floor. The apartment is comfortable, quiet and very clean. In fact, this is the first apartment where we were also provided with new towels and cleaning service every day. The location of the apartment is very convenient for exploring Makarska. It is very close to the old town, and on a walking distance to the Osejava Beach, and to the City Beach. The Alagić family were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a plate of Dalmatian prosciutto and cheese, fresh bread, wine and juice. They also gave us useful tips for exploring the city, and the surroundings of Makarska. We felt very welcomed during the whole stay.

The stay was truly comfortable. The owners welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and a platter of cold cuts and cheese. The room was spotless, and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. They also helped us with a problem we had with our car. Moreover, the location is very convenient for reaching both the city center and the town beach on foot, which is clean and well-equipped.

Alagić is a fantastic family run Aparthotel. Our family stayed in two rooms with balcony for a week. Arrived late night from Zadar, was warmly welcomed and our rooms where shown and a tastefull treat in the fridge where waiting. Clean, fresh, calm and safe. Right at the nice parts of the old town. Close to everything. Lovely hosts that was so sweet and nice. We are so happy that we found this amazing place.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and very comfortable the whole stay. It was the cleanest room in which we ever stayed. Everyday we had new towels and cleaned bathroom and the whole room. The service from the hosts was much better than in many high quality hotels. The location was also perfect. The building is located in historical center of Makarska. In 10-15min. by walk we got to nice beaches. We were happy to stay there and we would like to come again.

Be prepared that you have to pay by cash only. It was not written on Booking. Internet sometimes was slow, so it was not enough to attend online meetings.

Location is comfortable for both walking in the city centre and visiting beaches. Apartments are located in between of two beaches, so you choose where to go. Room itself is clean and good. Hosts are friendly. We had some issues with fridge, it was quite loud, so it was disturbing us during nights, but it was acceptable, another issue is that we had ants in the room, but hosts were extremely helpful and they were doing their best to solve this issue!

Not any negative comment

The location was very nice and not far from beach and boulevard. The owner provided superior service. Upon arrival a bottle of wine fresh bread and a meal ie salad with meat, ham, tomatoes and cheese was provided in our room. During the stay beds were done every day and after 3 nights new sheets. Every day new towels and room and bathroom was cleaned. When we left the owner dropped us at the bus station. Very friendly and service minded owner!

Everything was perfect. Good communication all the time. The hosts are very nice people. They provided us everything we needed. Cleaning was made every day, which is rare for such kind of accommodation. In the apartment there were all kitchen appliances and even ice and cooking oil. So we didn't need to buy these things. Also we were able to use washing machine at the common area free of charge. And even washing powder was provided freely. We didn't need to buy it as well.

Hill up to apartment, this would be no problem for anyone in normal health and mobility.

Spacious, daily cleaning,change of towels. Balcony, view of mountains, town and sea. Half sunshine and shade all day. Family exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dropped us at bus station when we were leaving.

Had a really enjoyable stay here. Room was clean and quiet with a nice bathroom and shower and good aircon. Location is perfect, right in the centre of town, close to bars and restaurants but far enough away for there to be no noise and only a short walk from the beach. The family who own it are also very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
