How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was perfect
The apartament is very nice decorated, perfectly clean and confortable. There is clima in each room, very clean and good equiped kitchen and bathroom, washing machine. Anything you might need during your stay, you can find in the apartment. It is located close to the city center, with parking available in front of the building. The host, Izis and her husband, are very nice people, with good recommendations regarding the places to visit during your stay in the city, where to eat etc. If we will come back again in Croatia, for sure we will book again Izis apartament.

Really friendly hosts and an excellent location a few minutes' walk away from the main sights. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, the shower was good and the beds were comfortable. And the air-con was effective, useful in a heatwave.

The place was modern, very clean, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated having air conditioning in every room. The host was very friendly and welcoming. They took the time to recommend a local restaurant nearby.

Everything was great
Excellent experience! The check-in process was smooth, and the apartment was immaculate, well-furnished, and exactly as described. Its convenient location near attractions and dining made it perfect, yet it remained quiet for restful nights. The host was responsive and provided great local tips. This rental exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for a hassle-free vacation stay. I look forward to returning!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a truly remarkable apartment. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the beauty and attention to detail that this place offered. The apartment was absolutely stunning, adorned with a charming decor that showcased the owner's dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing, but it was also impressively well-equipped. Everything seemed brand new, tidy, and impeccably clean. It was evident that the owners had invested a great deal of effort into making this space so special. Every room had its own air conditioning unit, ensuring that comfort was a top priority. The beds were a dream to sleep on, offering the perfect balance of support and softness. The location of the apartment was nothing short of fantastic – just a 5-minute walk from the Pula Arena and the bustling city center. Despite its central positioning, the neighborhood was peaceful, and the apartment was beautifully illuminated with natural light. Apartment is completely new, spacious, very comfortable, modern furnished, air conditioning is in every room and what is very important to me, the beds are very comfortable to sleep on! There is also nice balcony, where you can seat in the evening and enjoying with preferable beverage. The host Izis and her husband were really polite, welcome us with drinks in refrigerator and gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to be visited. Location is perfect, namely it is really close to the nearby attractions in the city center and to have a walk along the “riva”. I like very much also possibility to park the car in front, or in the private garage. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

A very nice apartament, very clean, you fiind in it everything you need, the owners are very kind and benevolent, you feel that they want to feel good. Also rhere are a garage, for those who comes with a car. The street is quiet, very close to center.
