I thought my room was a bit warm when I entered. I would have been a bit more comfortable had it gotten colder faster but I immediately checked in and then went to the beach to see the sun salutation and hear the sea organ at sunset, so there wasn't a lot of time for my room to get cool (the electricity depends on placing the key card in a holder).

Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel is a lovely accommodation that is 3 minutes away from the beach, the sea organ, and sun salutation in Zadar. I was able to check in at night, quickly shower, and then immediately head to the beach to experience the sea organ and sun salutation at sunset. The whole experience was magical. In addition, Sasha gave excellent recommendations for seafood and was incredibly helpful with parking on-site. He also made me feel very welcome and comfortable (procuring ice so that I could have cold refreshments in my room). The breakfast in the morning at the adjoining restaurant was delicious and the relaxing and peaceful vibes of the restaurant might be some of the best in the entire city. Just thinking about the quiet morning I spent happily eating and admiring the restaurant scenery makes me nostalgic.

The building we lived was not the main building and more like a B&B instead of hotel. The staff was not there when we checked in and we had to wait for 10-15mins. The staff is not very friendly.

Great breakfast in the garden with a good variety of choices from the menu including eggs, avocado toast, yogurt, fruits etc. There is also a small buffet of cold cuts/ cheese / yogurt. Good location near the sea.

What a joy to stay here! Really lovely and welcoming staff. Our room was clean and fresh with a modern vibe but making the most of the architectural features of this older building. Location is great - a few minutes’ walk from the sea organ and the central area. The staff helped us with parking spaces (there is a charge) and we always had a spot, even when returning later from a day trip. Delicious breakfast from the well-thought-out menu was a great start to the day.

We were challenged by the temperature in our room. It wouldn’t cool off as well as our friends’ room right next door and the control for the AC is run by the front desk. Overall we had an incredible stay, however, and just took cool showers to cool off more before bed.

The only improvement I would suggest is that the curtains don't fully cover the window space, so the room is light from early morning.

The rooms are modern, comfortable beds, amazing showers and the breakfast is delicious! All the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is well placed for exploring the old town.

I know Croatians are tall but not all of us are, so I had to get up on the luggage bench to reach the safe and could only see the top of my head on the mirror in the room!🤪

Great location, very clean, breakfast included and friendly staff made for a good value stay at this property. We stayed in the annex building and it was great. Staff helped us with a paid parking spot and gave us a breakfast ‘to go’ because we had to leave early in the morning.
