Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe above applies to this section. In fairness, the room was fine for one night stopover, clean linen , bed and shower served the purpose. It was just an unpleasant experience and I I hope it was just a once off.
As I had a late flight I signalled in advance my arrival would be 22.00. - 23.00. I arrived at 22.20 and the the restaurant/ bar was already quite busy. The staff lady told me I couldn’t use the restaurant even for a cup of tea as it was too late. There were a number of solo women and men sitting at tables nobody was rushing to close the restaurant. I asked for some water and the staff lady eventually handed me a carafe of water but no glass. They just wanted me out of the place as quickly as possible. Next morning before checking out I tried the restaurant for breakfast . I just wanted toast or something simple but had to choose from the menu - some kind of croque monsieur. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat it because of the type of butter/ mayonnaise and meat and I fully accept that this was probably a personal matter rather than a reflection of cooking there. So I just drank the orange juice ( glass of Fanta) and left. I realised afterwards that breakfast wasn’t included so decided to pay on departure. When I went down to reception with my card, there were 2 women blocking the door and looked prepared for a fight. No smiles or pleasant chat , both stared at me like a criminal. I smiled and paid ‘ for my breakfast as well’. They pointed at the tough guy standing in the restaurant waiting for his payment. No smiles anywhere, I was very happy to leave this place.

United StatesThe address on the booking was off, it was good we saw the sign but otherwise would have gone to a different address. The hotel is old and not kept up well, but I suppose it was cheap for an airport stay so I can’t complain!
Very good access to airport and easy check in process! Close to the beach and very easy walk to the airport.

CroatiaThe bed was quite stiff, but for the rate of the room, it was about what I expected. The room did not have much for blankets. I do realize it was summer and we could have turned down the A/C but I like to also have the heaviness of a blanket on me when I sleep. There really wasn't a middle weight blanket either.
This place has everything you need so that you do not need to leave the hotel: Restaurant and bar within the hotel. We stayed here because we were flying out the next morning and wanted to stay close to the airport. I misjudged how close we actually were to the airport, we could have definitely walked but the front desk set up a shuttle which was also helpful. We did pay 15 Euros for that short ride but that's ok, the front desk told us ahead of time that it would be about 15 Euros We didn't have a lot of time here, but it was super close to a beach which would be convenient for people wanting to do that.

SwitzerlandMore cure in the room preparation would be appreciated and give the guests the feeling that they are welcome. The pillows were untidily stuffed in the lining, the curtain was half hanging down from its pole, and the bathroom smelled of canalisation.
It's close to the airport and has a bus station right in front that was very practical for us since our flight arrived somewhat late and the next morning we were heading to Split. The restaurant is also good.

ItalyEverything was within my expectations.
Excellent location at a walking distance from the airport, very convenient if you have a flight early in the morning. Beds and shower were alright, not amazing but not too bad either. For just one night, it’s more than enough. There’s also a small beach nearby, great for a quick swim. The restaurant downstairs is great.

BelgiumThe walls were dirty of blood and dead mosquitos, light was not working, TV was not working, there is no reception....
You should verify the hotel before facilitating booking for them. This "hotel" does not really exist any more, they changed the name and it looks very dodgy. I would advise to verify and take it off your website.

IrelandNothing really
The location is excellent as you are a 15 minute walk from the airport. This was very handy as I arrived in at midnight. I got the bus next morning from right outside the property. So, it saved 60 euros on taxi to city if I had got one from airport.

United StatesCheck in process: Nobody at reception. Couldn't get in the door. Had to make multiple phone calls to access the building and get inside. Employee came downstairs from inside the building, gave me my keys and disappeared. Very strange experience. The room was spectacularly awful. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Carpets and rugs stained and horrible, shower and bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, trash in the bathroom hadn't been emptied. I walked right out, left the keys at reception (again, nobody there) and booked another hotel for the evening.
This place is eerie. Didn't like anything about it. I immediately found another hotel nearby which was much, much better. I would advise travelers not to consider staying at Manufaktura.
