How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Lovely welcome and very clean apartment. We stayed downstairs and was as in pictures, access to area outside downstairs with wee table and chairs. Very good location and off street parking.

There was no wifi
The apartment was nice and spacious. The location is also good as it’s easy to reach Dubrovnik old town (either by bus which costs 2.50€ or uber which costs approximately 8-9€). There was a free parking in front of the house. Aida was a nice and friendly host.

The owner gave us instructions about the city and the house was big with a big balcony and free parking spot.

The host was lovely and very good with kids. The apartment was very nice, clean, in a great location and quite big/spacious. It also had a well equipped kitchen and lots of local guide books which were helpful. I would definitely come back.

kitchen is a little small, the pan's we hard to cook on without sticking.
The host was very friendly, helped us find a store close by and other tips for the area. Also let us park in her driveway so we didn't need to worry about parking. the bread press was great for toast! We arrived late and the host still met us no issues.

I like the location, it's not far from the old town (we reached easily with bus - short distance), and walking distance to marina and sunset beach.

We like all.
Aida was absolutely the best host. So sweet and happy energy! Its was perfect comfortable stay here and parking just outside the door(free). Its make our stay in Aida home very pleasant and relaxing. We was going with Bolt around the city with bus tickets price. Studio have home feeling and have everything we need. Highly recommended!

The TV remote control was very dirty. Had to clean it to use it. Potential improvements : WiFi and a small dining table.
Modern studio in decent location. Quiet area. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly host who gave us good tips. Parking just in front of the door.

Not a lot of options to eat and drink in the area by foot

It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The host Aida kindly stayed up to welcome us for a late arrival and gave us very good tips on what to do/ how to get around. Lovely terrace for breakfast and meals. Easy proximity to beaches and Old Town.

Good things have their own shortcoming, although the aircon was very good unfortunately there was only one in the living room and therefore the cold air would have to go through the kitchen, across the corridor to cool off the bedrooms on the other side of the corridor. The entire apartment is rather old fashioned, the bathroom has no hook to hang the shower head, and has not enough pegs to hang clothes and towel, the toilet flush is likely have been placed in the 1940s but still works greatly.
Upon arrival, Aida was waiting outside to greet us with the key to the apartment, and she firstly asked to park our car at the reserved place in the premises, then she kindly showed the entire apartment, and we had a long chat listening to her advice, and it was pleasant to hear her stories despite her busy time with other obligations. Thanks, Aida, you're very kind, and we wished we had said goodbye.

Aida was extremely welcoming and pleasant to deal with even though we landed pretty late. The room was perfect for us and spotless. Location is ideal and away from the rustle of the city but not too far. The views outside the room are amazing too!
