The area was beautiful with so many areas to enter the water. It was beautiful and peaceful. We only had breakfast and it was varied and plentiful. The room was big and the shower was powerful. Beds were comfy. A short walk around the bay from the ferry. Reception people were really helpful and friendly. A really good experience, definitely will return.

The hotel complex was grubby, with cracked concrete on the buildings. The shower was dirty, especially the shower curtain, with a squashed mosquito on the wall. The lights were really bright, the beds like slabs of wood. The beds were two singles pushed together, with wooden sides, so we couldn't even cuddle up. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting, hundreds of wasps in the jam, yoghurt, fruit. The scrambled eggs were grey, the coffee like mud. The television didn't work. When we went to reception (not to complain, but to ask for the TV to be fixed), the receptionist picked his nose as he talked to us and shrugged. As we were leaving, a bulb on the hotel sign popped and burst into flames (we did inform the staff). Overall horrendous.

A beautiful small harbour town, well worth a visit for relaxing. Little to do, but thats just what we wanted. There were a number of Nepalese staff who were friendly and charming.

The kids playground is a death trap and should be closed. For a private hotel facility it's embarrassing that no one looks after the place where kids play. Broken glass, rusty screws and nails and other damaged parts where kids can get hurt properly. Really really bad. Shame I didn't take a picture of it and when I reported it, no one seemed to care

Overall great value for money. Close to the beach and the view from the restaurant is ridiculous.
