Such a lovely property, very large and luxurious space. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfy, probably our most comfortable sleep in Europe. Also the ceilings are beautifully high! The location is fantastic for walking into town aswell.

The only thing the shower didn't have any support so it was hard to wash my hair for example. I think this is something the hotel must fix

The room was super clean. We were able to check-in before the checkin time! Angelo was very helpful and friendly. We could left our luggage in the apartment after check out, which was very helpful

Thought I'd booked apartment with cooker as photos showed full kitchen as wanted to cook. Kitchen was for different room. Kettle available but only plastic cups so didn't use. Bathroom was wet room so when floor got wet with shower there was no way to dry it other than putting towels on the floor

Friendly responsive host. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Clean. Close to sightseeing. Place to secure bicycles. Luggage storage so I could go out in the morning for breakfast. Good balcony.. Fridge.

Hower curtains too short, bathroom was flooded after showering. Black out curtain needed on the balcony door, very bright in the morning.

The shower was tiny with only a curtain, which means it sticks to your body when you are trying to wash and also water gets all over the floor. Everything else was totally fine.

The owner was super responsive. Gave immediate replies, helped us assess whether we could park in a certain spot, answered our messages right away. The apartment was basic and had what we needed easily accessible. It was not right in the center, but it was a 2-5 minute walk to coffee and the grocery store, and an easy walk into town.

Lack of a kitchen in our unit. No lifts so if you have heavy luggages would be inconvenient.

We stayed at A&M Apartment & Rooms for two nights and found it to be in one of the better locations in downtown Split. Once we arrived, we didn’t need to use our car at all, as everything was within easy walking distance. The property is conveniently located right in front of a public car park, which charges about €1.50 per hour. There are also a few free parking spots marked in white nearby, although they can be limited. Our host, Angelo, was fantastic, he’s friendly, helpful, and incredibly responsive via WhatsApp. I highly recommend adding him on WhatsApp before your arrival. He answered all our questions promptly and made our stay much smoother. Our unit had a washing machine, which came in handy during our trip. We noticed another unit had a full kitchen, which would be great for guests planning to cook their own meals. A&M is a casual, budget-friendly accommodation, so while it’s generally comfortable, don’t expect luxury or top-tier amenities. One small issue we encountered was with the iron A&M provided, it had burnt marks on the plate, and unfortunately, it left a mark on one of our shirts. We informed Angelo, and to his credit, he bought a brand-new iron the very same day, which will definitely be appreciated by future guests. We stayed in Room 7, which is located on the top floor. During our stay, the building was undergoing renovations, so there was some construction noise including the roof top starting around 9am, with workers moving materials not just outside our room, but outside the window, staircase & hallway of the building. Overall, A&M Apartment & Rooms offers fair value for money, with decent facilities and a great location. The bed in our unit was very soft, perhaps a little too soft, as it felt like we were sinking in (we are not big heavy people). We hope the host might consider upgrading it for better comfort in the future.

There was construction in the building and scaffolding outside....it didn't look so inviting but it also means that the building is well maintained.

Comfortable room, very clean, quiet, safe, good wifi, easy self-check-in/check-out, prompt communication with the host. Quiet. Recommend this place. Would come back when in the area.

Lovely and helpful host. Apartment in an excellent location just a short walk from the centre. The room was nice, had a nice bed and useful fridge. What the price reflects is there is nowhere to hang the shower head, nor the towels, nor the toilet roll, the towels were missing a little softener, the blinds didn’t shut properly (outdoor table in the way and no handle to close) and the building door wouldn’t shut the first day (leaving only the room door for security). Having said that, those were small details given the price, location and that Split is a very safe place.
