We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Philippineswe expected that we will stay in 12 th Floor as stipulated in the confirmed booking but to our surprise we stayed in 17th floor cannot be reached by elevator because their elevator is only on 16th follow we are 12 persons with children and senior citizen so we need to used stairs to carry ou heavy luggages

TaiwanLifts are slow and there is often a line waiting. Chungking Mansions are sleezy and dirty, and be the whole thing is a fire hazard waiting to be happen.
It's budget accommodation, tiny windowless rooms in the heart of Kowloon. It's clean, secure, inexpensive, has air con, and room is cleaned every day and fresh towels provided.

United StatesThe room was not described correctly. Stated deluxe double room, and picture showed a room with floor space. The room had a mattress wedged between 3 walls, the only floor space was an area between the end of the bed, and the door big enough for 1 person to stand. Not big enough for my wife and I to get dressed at the same time. One of us had to stay on bed while the other got dressed Very disappointing, was not the room we expected, based on how they represented the room description and pictures And there was always men at the entrance asking if we need Cocain, or women.. would not stay here again
The location was good, lots of shopping, and places to eat. Close to all transportation
