Pillow were too soft personally. The lighting weren't very good, not much controls, spotlights not good for taking product photos! The cleaners did not refill my tea/coffee packs in the drawer. It was quite cold and there weren't enough A/C system instructions on how to use.

The cleanliness of the room, shower & temperature works great, quiet enough, bed was good. I like the easy control automatic blinds.

I booked the hotel a few minutes before midnight and checked in after midnight due to a T8 when we arrived in HK. Really not much to say about the hotel. The room was super tiny but the window view compensated a little.

I have just checked out of the Ovolo Southside in Hong Kong and stored my luggage there for later collection. But I didn't get a receipt. Is that normal? That is a bit worrying. I hope my luggage will still be there later. Kind regards, Andreas Stoffel

The A/C in our room was not very effective. Even set on the lowest temp (17) it didn't keep the room cool enough to allow a comfortable night's sleep. We tried raising the fan speed to compensate but that just made it way too loud to sleep.

Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff - even gave us an upgraded room :). Location was perfect for us. The room was very clean and had cool, modern decoration and a very comfy bed. My son also loved the view over the south coast of HK.

Room was small, no balcony and entrance need some work or clear signage, thought we were walking into some wrong turn building. Charging system needs some updates , Aircon was not working properly and we were told it was reported to the technicians until we checked out.

It has a hipster vibe and the room was decently sized, functional and well equipped. Mountain view. There’s also a good restaurant in the hotel. Would recommend!

It is kind of far out from the center but we’ll reachable. It was a little pricy for the long trip to the city but it was nice to see more of Hongkong Island. From the outside the building really didn’t look like the hotel would be as nice as it is.

The rooms worth the big windows were very nice and had all amenities we needed. The personnel was very kind and helpful. A subway station is well reachable or you can go there by bus.

It is the same as what you’ll see in the photos. It is only one bus or train away to the center. The hotel room amenities and treats are nice. It is quality and we had a comfortable stay.

Nothing of substance. I could thought mention that I think the hotel and the guests would benefit from the staff informing guests about the great facilities guests have at their disposal, such a 24 h self-laundry, a lounge with a biljard table and free coffee, deals at the restaurant.

A wonderful location, quite central but quiet (no crowds) in a green part of the city. I enjoyed a lot eating at their Mexican restaurant. The vibe of the place is very cool, artsy. I stayed in the corner queen room. Two walls were windows. I had everything I needed, including tea and coffee makers in the room. A very smart and practical design. Overall I cannot not recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay again there if I pass by the HK city.

We had a few issues with the toilet but to be fair the staff were very responsive and quickly solved it. The hotel bar (Above) is permanently closed despite the sign still being up in front of the hotel.

It’s not in the centre of Hong Kong Island, but the metro is very close and there are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops which we used for breakfast and for dinner the day we arrived. All the toiletries you need are provided.

As my partner needs to work in the room, but they do not provide proper chair and working desk like ordinary hotel. Hotel do provide foldable desk and chair as requested.

The restaurant. Horrendous meal. Complete joke. Charged me 90 hkd for 3 pathetic quesadillas I asked for chicken in mine this then added 40 hkd. The quesadillas were smaller than the palm of my hand. They were just cheese sandwich Mexican style. No experience required to make these. I wanted a drink and was rec the sangria "deal" which was a side dish and 2 drinks. The side dish was some kind of fish civiche on a Dorito. The fish was a bit smelly and even tho they were only a size of a Dorito I really questioned myself if I should eat the second one. The sangria was just normal. Overall you could pick any random person with two hands off the street give them basic instructions and they could have made everything I was given. Total cost of this pathetic "meal" was 330 hkd. What is extra frustrating is that this restaurant is inside a hotel so they don't even have rent overhead to deal with like every other restaurant in HK and the area is not exactly teeming with food choices so they could have really done something here and guests would have taken the chance and try however instead they give this offering. DON'T eat here.

Great location if you're looking to stay a bit away from town or want to visit ocean park. Mtr is just a short walk over and can get anywhere

Perhaps next door is very close, I keep hearing big “bang bang “ noise every time they shut the door. Food quality at their restaurants is bad.

The Mountain View corner room was blocked on one side by buildings , can only see stadium n mountain on one side window.

Chic and vibrant , comfy and relaxing. Staff was great n room was very spacious!
