4th time here, and it was a fantastic stay as always!

The staff was very attentive and friendly at the reception and especially guys at the entrance, location was good for my stay near HKU, bed, towels were clean, view was amazing 😻

It’s visible that the building and facilities were old but all was clean, but the worst thing about this hotel is very strong smell of mold, it means that there’s no maintenance and on the second day of my stay I started to feel difficulty to breath, I read feedback about the mold before and thought that okay someone is always complaining but it turns out that in fact it’s really serious problem. They gave me another room which was better, but there’s humidity and smell everywhere, they need to clean all the AC and do maintenance. No bathrobe in the room and broken facilities in the bathroom.

It's expensive! But that's HK I suppose.

Fantastic location! 5 minutes walk to the HKU MTR station and to very good dim sum, roast suckling pig/goose and beef noodles eating places.

The comfort in the room and the location

I ended up in one room with a connecting door and the couple nearby was a bit noisy in the evening... Having a restaurant would definitely be a plu for this place. I've found the breakfast too limited in terms of offer and definitely skewed towards Cantonese style only.

brilliant stay! it was my third time staying here, and i'll definitely come back. staff are friendly and always willing to help and make your life easier. room is clean. the shower is the best - high pressure shower head, very hot water available and spacious. the automatic blackout blinds are a great feature, and it was always fun pressing the button to make them go up and reveal the stunning view of the harbour.

the bed wasn't the most comfortable because the middle part of the bed sunk in a lot :( at my previous stay, i remember the bed was a bit too hard, and i didn't sleep that well because of it.

Fabulous views over the harbour from large windows in room. (Well worth paying g a little extra for the view) Easy access to trams and metro. Late arrival from NZ… Good restaurant - full as Valentine’s Day but we had drinks at bar whilst they cooked takeaways they offered for us to have in our room overlooking the harbour! Great service.

The location and sea view was outstanding as well as the service from all of the staff and especially Bruce who helped us with taxi etc.

Decent stay and spacious rooms but I believe we suffered from mold exposure!! Throughout the stay we slowly became more and more weak, lethargic and nauseous, we had no idea why but at the end of the trip I think it’s because we were being exposed to mold!!! (Please see photos). Overall staff are nice, the house keeper is very kind but will often forget to wash dirty cups, or she will give new towels but forget to take the old dirty ones..

It was right infront of the harbour, it’s a different view from the usual Victoria Harbour view and we loved the tranquility. (but might need to consider cleaning the windows a bit hahaha)

Great view from room………..we were upgraded to a top floor room with fab views of the harbour. Comfy bed and good pillows. Excellent bathroom and bath with a view of the harbour…..with privacy blinds if needed. Lovely breakfast spread with very helpful staff and nice omelettes.
