There are two things that I disliked. First, I think the doors on the bathrooms could be a solid color instead of a faded window. You couldn't really see through it but you were able to see the silhouette of someone. As a female solo traveler sharing space with men, it felt a bit invasive and like I didn't really have privacy. I had to take a shower with the light turned off so the inside wouldn't be "clear". If there is a concern about people taking a shower together, why not just leave some centimeters at the bottom of the door faded... instead of the whole thing. The second thing isn't a deal breaker, but it would be appreciated: hooks. Hostels usually don't have enough hooks. I would say have hooks in the room in the restrooms and anywhere, honestly. If you are a backpacker (or even if you are not) hooks come in so handy, so you don't leave your stuff on the floor, and it can be better organized.

I liked that the location was very central and it was 2 minutes walking to the closest MTR. The beds are organized and individual. You can have privacy. There was AC in the room and a light inside your "cubicle," as well as plugs that had a few different types of entries, so if you forgot your adaptor, you're ok. They provide "indoor" shoes (I used them to take a shower). I spent all day outside, so I only slept and showered at the hostel, and I think they provided good facilities for the price.

Shabby building, but that is the norm in HK. Saw a few small cockroaches here and there inside the guesthouse, which is unfortunately something to be expected in huge old buildings like this one.

Nice to have beds with curtains and rooms with front-facing windows with natural light. There were three bathrooms with showers which were enough for one dormitory.

The property was great, clean, had everything a solo backpacker would need. The rooftop is a must see and also the people you meet there are on another level. Perfect place in Hong Kong

On some days there was a bad smell upon entering the room, but I got used to the smell quickly. Because there is no separation between the common area and the beds, food smells will affect those who are sleeping. Would be nice if there was hand soap at the sinks and dishwashing detergent at the pantry sink (though you can use the bath soap in the shower to wash hands). For the beds, the curtain doesn't block out much light, so those who are light sensitive will find it hard to sleep. For one bed, the veneer of one ladder rung was peeling off. For another bed, the dimmer light setting didn't work and one leg of the foldable table was broken.

Location is very near many bus stops and Causeway Bay MTR. Also near a lot of eating places, 7-11s, and supermarkets. 4 bathrooms for 10 beds means that there was never a queue for the bathroom. Room was decently clean and bed was comfortable. Ladder had broad rungs so it was easy to climb up. Providing slippers was a nice touch. Remember to bring a lock for the lockers.

This is my 2nd time staying here. I live in Shenzhen and visit Hong Kong often. I would happily stay here again due to the location, space, having plenty of bathrooms and comfortable of capsules.

The beds are very narrow and the mattress is almost completely solid. I still slept well as I was walking so much in the day and was shattered - but defo something to bear in mind.

Perfect location, convenient building. The room and bathroom was very clean and the AC was good! Staff were also really helpful.

Maybe some stronger air-conditioning but that’s seasonal.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in late after my flight was delayed. I was greeted with a cold bottle of water which was really nice. The room itself is great, bigger than I expected with definitely enough space to open a large suitcase on the floor. The bunk is spacious with adjustable lighting, a mirror and an adapter that works for most plugs. The location is amazing in the heart of causeway bay surrounded by restaurants, shops and public transport links. Will definitely stay again when back in Hong Kong.

My bed was not cleaned when I arrived at Night. Dan from the reception was highly helpful and arranged a room for my entire stay of 5 days at no cost. Super professional handling of this suboptimal situation. Highly appreciate this customer service.

There is no common room so we had to be quiet to not disturb people who were sleeping. The elevator is quite scary.

I really enjoyed this place. The bed was comfortable, with a mirror and a small table built in. Sam was really nice!! If I go back to Hong Kong, I will definitely come here. There is a roof with a wonderful view!
