Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesRoom was small but to be expected. Toilet had a slight smell.
Excellent location (right across the street from Jordan station). Strong Wi-Fi, no issues with video calls. Helpful owner, and able to store luggage after check-out.

CanadaRoom size, but this is Hong Kong and more space will really cost you, so for the price, this is great value.
Hong Kong is notorious for its small rooms, and this is no exception. However, given this fact, the bed is good, and the shower and hot water are great. A fridge and kettle are available for guest use. The AC works great, as does the wifi. You can't beat the location, near many affordable restaurants and walkable to the sea. The metro and airport bus are close to the hotel. Overall, if you don't mind a small single room, this one is great value. If not, and you're alone, the double rooms are larger. The owners are friendly and helpful. They speak English too.

AustraliaFor me, the bed was too hard and too small. I didn't get a comfortable night rest.
The couple who run the guest house are amazing, very welcoming, friendly and always happy to help out. The accommodation was very clean, the location was excellent and the air-conditioning worked well and the shower was hot, good water pressure. Subway, Kowloon West train station, malls, restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. A lot of food choices to choose from. All in all, very clean room, amazing staff and great location *The room is small, so is the bathroom. I am 6ft tall, 105kg and I couldn't sit properly on the toilet. My knees were up against the glass. My feet hung over the bed. I spent 5 nights here and I made it work. Keep this in mind, but this is the norm in Hong Kong.

Airport bus right over the road. Next to Jordan station. The price is cheap because the room is small but it had a desk and was clean and comfortable. A little difficult to find but google maps did the job

PolandI liked everything, but future travellers must keep in mind that the beds are quite SMALL. I am 170cm tall and the bed was barely long enough.
The property is 100m from Jordan metro station, in a bustling neighbourhood, very close to Night Market, a great park, bar street etc. The room was a bit small, but very clean. Towels and toiletries were included. AC was working well, although a little noisy.

PhilippinesNothing, I am not a picky person as I only use the room to rest and sleep, the room is clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and accommodating so there is nothing that I didn’t like the property.
Accessible to public transportation, it's near the Jordan MTR station. There are lots of restaurants nearby, 711 shops, atm machine and on the ground floor, there is a money changer as well. The hosts are very friendly, the guy who welcomed us helped us carry our luggage and patiently instructed us on their amenities. Ate clean the room every day and changed the sheets, towels, and threw out garbage too. They also have a safe and quiet surroundings. Ate was also kind coz I got my monthly visit after our Disney tour and the bedsheets got a little bit of stains next morning even tho I had wear a pad. 😬 Told that to ate coz the bedsheets are white. She just said “oh no worries, I’ll change that and wash it, no worries!” Salamat Po ate😊 I was also grateful for Kuya, our flight will be the next early morning and I can't find a packaging tape to the stores nearby and my extra luggage is just a sako bag and I am afraid it will be torn in the checked-in luggage coz its just a sako bag w/zipper😅. But Kuya took an extra mile and handed me a packaging tape🥹 I will be back here for sure. I don't know if they were a couple, but both the lady (ate) and the guy (Kuya) were easy to deal with and very accommodating. We didn't have any problems on our stay. Just to set the expectations, here are the ff to note: -the rooms are just enough for you to have a comfortable sleep and to rest from the whole day of tour. -No rug outside the toilet but there are slippers you can use inside. -there is a water heater -Shampoo and Liquid body soap is available too -Bathroom tissue, bath and face towels are provided -Wifi is strong -Aircon is new and strong (split type) for 3 adults room -They offer drinking water and hot water in the hallway, but sometimes the drinking water is empty but that’s fine, we bought our own drinking water outside.

PhilippinesThe Location of Good Fortune is very good. We can easily access Jordan Station. We were very happy it was near a night market, which the Temple Street. We feel very safe and comfortable even though we are physically challenged because we are literally big people. However, we have managed to be at rest after all the walking we've experienced. The auntie and uncle who runs the inn are very helpful. I also like how they change the towels every day. Definitely, if we are to return to HK again, we will book at Good Fortune Inn again. Thank you so much. Blessings all the way.
