Decent stay in HK. Clean, and helpful staff.

We arrived at the reception and found it closed. There was a phone number to call, but we hadn't bought a SIM card yet. So we waited a good 30 min before the manager showed up. Which he finally did, and made us choose between three rooms, which was nice.

Excellent location along Nathan Road, half way between Jordan and Yau Ma Tei, MTR stations, 100 m from the night market. Rooms are small, but this is HongKong. It was expected. Most have a large window with an actual view. Staff are friendly, cleaning is done every day. It is very good value for money (once again, by HongKong standards).

The lifts can take a while to come but the waiting time is still acceptable

Great host, excellent location. Small room size but this is excepted in Hongkong. If you want big apartments / rooms, you should be ready to pay big sums for it. Rooms were very clean, which is all I really wanted at this budget.

These hotels are above the shops and part of a block of other little hotels and apartments so you need to read the address well and keep an eye out for the name of the building as you get close. It's sign posted above the little alleyway that leads to the lift area. Reception is well sign posted once up on the 5th floor. Be aware most rooms don't have any view at all.

I was worried about booking a budget hotel that was very small, as many of them have bad reviews. But Asia Travel House has great reviews and now I know why. Yes the rooms are small and the shower is over the top of the bath, but the room and bathroom are super clean and the bed is really comfortable. Crisp clean white linen and a nice warm duvet since it was under 15: degrees in March. TV and kettle in the room, plenty of plug sockets and USB chargers and a fridge and microwave that is shared. Good security. Only about 25 mins to walk to the harbour. Great restaurants nearby including a 24 hour McDonald's and 7-11. Two minutes to Temple Street Market. Superb.

I found it difficult to find. We actually had a different room, but that was too small, so we got a different room that was still tiny. It's basic but fine

The location was perfect, in the middle of a busy area, public transport is nearby. The room is basic, but clean. It got cleaned every day.

Lift was such a hassle but were active people so didnt bother to take the stairs.

Perfect location in the city center , value for money. WIFI is fast and good. Transporation is always available

Despite the really Hong Kong standard size of the room, it was very comfortable. An additional advantage is definitely the location in the center of Kowloon.

Rooms in HK are small, and this guesthouse is no exception. It wasn’t a surprise for us, but could be for some travelers. The building the guesthouse is located in is old and a bit rundown, but the room itself was well maintained.

Location was excellent, close to the MTR station, and easy access for the airport bus. The room was super clean.

Don't be shocked. It's an old building and takes time to wait for an elevator.

Tiny room, but it had everything we needed. The bathroom was ok, the floor was drying very fast and they provide slippers, so it was comfortable to use the bathroom even after taking shower. It is located close to subway and night markets.

The entrance (dusty), the lift (1 out of 3 is maintenance almost all the time) & the dust (they are doing renovations work outside the building)

No street level signage. Enter outdoor entry under Alhambra Building sign and take elevator to 5th floor to find reception. Building is being renovated so halls look dusty and tired at moment with plastic over windows, but room interior clean, though small.

Very clean, simple, efficient accommodation. Helpful staff kindly stayed late for checkin when we ran late. Good A/C and water pressure with hot water. Excellent convenient location with easy transportation access. Small but good value for the price.

The building is under construction, but works don't start till 9 am and after. Noise wasn't a issue

It’s clean. Free water. Friendly and kind staff. Also, 2 blocks away from the Yau Ma Tei Station.

- didn’t have a sign for ‘I don’t need room cleaning’ and they knocked on the door at 11:30 AM and woke me up because they wanted to clean… I would have needed more sleep and couldn’t sleep after this - the cleaning lady didn’t change the towels when she cleaned - I would have appreciated new bottles of water (they brought one more bottle after four days)

It was decent and I appreciate the fact that they brought a small table as there was non in the room, because they saw I had my laptop with me. - they didn’t ask to pay the water (normally I should have paid but they said no) - they provided earplugs

I wish the power plug was closer to the bed - I almost missed an alarm because my phone was charging over the other side of the room!

Good spot, basic guesthouse and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helped me when I had to check in quite late. Early check-outs are also fine.
