Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe location is in the flight path of the airport. This was not an issue for me, but it might be if you're a light sleeper.
The manager, Patricia, was lovely. She was available to answer questions and check me in even though my flight arrived after 11:00 p.m. She was concerned about me as a woman traveling solo. I had planned on taking a local bus to Antigua, but she politely discouraged me. She asked which terminal I was leaving from to make sure I had the safest option. She provided information about maintaining my personal safety. The bed was very comfortable. There were two restaurants on the same block which were reasonably priced. The staff directed me to places down the street and around the corner which had familiar American chains. The room had a kitchenette, and everything needed to prepare meals. The location was within walking distance of restaurants and a small park. I enjoyed my stay. As a solo traveler, I appreciated Patricia's concern for my safety.

United StatesNeighbors were loud, you definitely need a fan or AC, the place was hot due to locations of windows for air. The bathroom window open to laundry room, caused privacy concern , an issue venting steam out the bathroom.
Location, kitchen if you needed it, it was clean and the shower had hot water. The owner was helpful and nice.

DenmarkApart from the mentioned advantages, there is not much to attract you in the area. There is no air conditioning or fans
The location is close to the airport and in walking distance to two important museums: Museum of ethnology and Museum of modern art (both of them are closed for renovation in spring -summer 2023) and the surprisingly good zoo. The accommodation includes a working kitchen section. Many guests mention difficulties in finding the place. It is important to note that the address is 6a Avenida A (the last A is crucial) between 13 Calle and 14 Calle. The house number is clearly marked above the three, WHITE garage doors

United Statesi had a hard time finding this property. The taxi driver from the airport did not know how to find the property, so he left me in the general neighborhood. I asked many people about the property name and address and they could not help. I asked someone to call the property and learned that fortunately I was just a block away. The location was unmarked and on a quiet street, and I felt very relieved when I was let in. It needs a presence on Google Maps, a clear location description, and perhaps a sign.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with small kitchen and desk. The woman who received me was very helpful and professional. The location on a gated courtyard was very secure and quiet.

United KingdomThis is low cost but entirely comfortable and spacious apartment style accommodation. It matched my needs perfectly and the staff are super helpful and friendly. You could pay much more to stay in a grand hotel that gives no more, or stay here and spend the money you save on exploring Guatemala and eating out.

United StatesMy shuttle driver had a hard time finding the property, but Patty was able to direct him. The plugin air fresheners smelled a bit too strong. I had to unplug them when I came into the room, because they were hurting my eyes and throat.
The staff were so kind and accommodating and helpful. I would return again just for them.

CanadaThere was no sign outside the building. Being close to the airport also meant it was on the flight path. It gets very loud when there is a plane. There was not any noise overnight but it started early.
We stayed here one night to catch an early flight. It is very close to the airport. It was comfortable and had everything we needed.
