Thin walls between the cabins / can be a bit noisy. Lacking a bit privacy since window blinds are a bit small. Common place should be organized better, looks a bit messy with a lot of tables and used dishes are not removed often.

Peaceful place, nice views over the lake. Easy transport to and from Flores. Nice cabins with hot shower. Food is delicious in the restaurant.

Excellent boat service all day and night between the hotel and flores island. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was tasty.

There were no cupboards, shelves or hooks for clothing and towels.

The location offered quietness away from Flores Island. Staff always there to assist us. Good walks from the hotel.

- the garden behind the reception was surrounded by trash - I left a beer open in the room and upon my arrival there was a dead coucoach in the beer - I find it unfair and too expensive that they charge Q150 for a one way boatride to flores island if you want to go to Tikal for the sunrise or at early morning hours eg. at 4:30 that most tourists do - If you want to stay longer than 9pm to enjoy your time in Flores island they charge Q50. At the end in total this accommodation was way too overpriced for me.

The room did not have any shelves/chairs or coat hooks to put on you luggage or hang your clothes/wet towels to dry. The restaurant only served a few things from the menu (off season).

Really enjoyed staying here! Nice location by the lake in the nature and yet close to the island of Flores, they offer an included boat shuttle service to get you there (2 rides per day included from 7am-9pm), additional rides cost 25GTQ respectively 50GTQ during after hours. Modern rooms.

I don’t know why, but there were empty bottles around the property and it looked a it off.

Decent location, a bit off the path and you will need the boat to transfer. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The cabin is also great

Would be nice if you could clean the leasure area (with hammocks) from leaves and trash. Would be good to know that you only get 2 free transfers from Flores and that if you want a transfer before 7am it costs 150QTZ (fortunately there are boats that can do that for half the price)

Limited food options

This is an amazing place a short trip away from Flores island. The owner will pick you up and drop you off with this boat. It was great to sleep right by the lake and have some peace and quiet. You can go explore san miguel, visit playa chechenal and el mirador

This is a low-key and laid-back spot a 5 minute boat ride from Flores. As stated, you send them a WhatsApp message and they'll zip across the lake and pick you up. The rooms are simple, no-frills and clean. You can sit and look across the lake at Flores, you can swim, you can go walk up the trail behind the hotel to the mirador and maybe see some monkeys. It's quiet and slow paced. Slowed me right down. The restaurant does the trick. I'd stay here again for sure.

Overall feel like it needs a bit of love and care, especially the outdoor areas which felt quite run down and not quite as inviting as we’d hoped for when we pictured a relaxing day by the water.

Lovely views over the lake and quieter than being on the actual island. Being across the lake from the island wasn’t a problem as the boat will collect/drop off on demand, though only until 9pm (after that, they charge) - ideally this would be complimentary until 9:30 or so as 9pm does feel a bit too early. Rooms were cool.

We were not given the boat rates outside of free hours, it was quite expensive. I wish tgis was communicated ahead. 100Q at 10pm. The room was very hot during the day due to the sun shining on the large windows.

It is a very nice Spot with beautiful nature around. You can See wonderful sunsets. The free transport per boat to flores Works really good and is nice. The owners are very helpflu for all questions. The Omelette was great.

The location is amazing, but the room didn't look anything like the one we reserved on booking.com. The furniture had been taken out and it only contained a bed and a fan. I complained and a table and chair were found, but it had none of the charm of the photos on booking.com with colourful bedspreads etc. The wifi was sporadic at best. The extra charge to pay by credit card changed by the day culminating in 10%, where other smaller venues in Flores didn't charge anything!!

The location is amazing, but you're paying for this rather than any hotel facilities. Kevin was great at taking us to and from Flores, which was really useful. Food was good if a little pricey by Guat standards.

The sound from Flores does travel across the water. Weekends can be quite noisy. Getting a boat back after 10pm can be a bit pricey if you want to stay out.

Enjoyed being outside of Flores. They offer 2x free return trips every day up to 10pm for when you want to visit Flores and you can just WhatsApp to order the boat. Super chilled in the jungle, with lots of nature stuff to do. Staff were amazing and food was good! Room clean and bed comfy. You can cruelly swim in the water here.

Be aware that there is no access by road to the hotel. You will need to be picked up by boat. In no description that was made very clear. The communication with Miguel, who is in charge of running the place, was difficult.

Great views of the lake, cute bungalows with rooms that are basic, but met our expectations. The staff on the island was incredible as was the food.

Be aware the outside area is the highlight and the rooms are simple and offer few features except A/C. If you are looking for something luxurious where you wanna spend a lot of time in your room, you should consider another place (and need to invest a few dolares more!). Breakfast serving took a while.

Great view, nice garden for hanging out with plenty of space (e.g. for yoga on the pier). For us actually an advantage to be on the other side of the lake due to the view and the tranquility. Mayan spirit offers 4 free boat transfers per day from/to the pier near Raices Restaurant at the SW corner of Flores. Trips take approx 3 mins and are arranged via Whatsapp (ready to go within 5 minutes or so). We felt the value was excellent and liked the mango smoothies prepared from the fruits growing in the garden.
