What would I like to know before reservation: - they have a so called suicide shower, but in summer turn off electricity so it's safe to shower. It means no warm water, then. - you need to pay 5Q everytime you need to get across the lake to Flores or back - the bathroom is not in the room and cant be locked from outside, only from inside

Recommend water filter in lobby for guests to refill their own water bottles.

Great balcony with views of island and lake, hammocks and chairs to lounge in. Restaurant was good and they opened anytime we needed. They helped coordinate a tuk tuk to a local swim area for a good price and picked us up at airport.

No warm water in the showers, bathrooms need upgrading. Hotel is a bit dated (but they work hard to keep it clean). Pillows are a bit flat.

Gorgeous, quiet location on the lakefront with views of Flores island. Staff were always willing to assist with boats to and from the hotel. Decent beds. No frills but everything you need to crash at night after exploring. Andrew was lovely and fixed any issues we had immediately.

We did not received Wi-Fi signal in our room. Also, we did not get information in advance about the “lancha” availability for crossing the lake. Another bad thing, we didn’t receive a hand towel for the washbasin.

The room was big enough for 4 persons. It has a great view of the lake. Excellent lighting and quiet room.

The hotel is not in Flores! It is on the other side of the lake. It means that each time you need to go to the town you must find the owner to take you with his boat (2 minutes drive).

It wasn’t really clear how the boat service works, it was never explained to us properly (even though we asked twice) so one time we had to pay for it, the other time not. Please take it into consideration while making your booking - to get anywhere you need to add this cost to your spending so if you want to me more flexible you may prefer to stay on the main island.

The room was clean and very comfortable, the view on the island is just fantastic. There’s a hammock in front of the room so you have a great place for relaxation after the whole day of sightseeing.

The staff is mostly children or teenagers without formal hotel education. Give the remote control of the aircon or a lamp without bulbs, and you have to ask hours later to get the items back.

The view towards the island of Flores is reason enough for staying there. The boat of the hotel will take you across at any time in around five minutes. The place is quiet

it's not on the Flores island itself (5 min away) but the staff will come pick you up/drop you off on boat anytime you need.

There is no kitchen for customer’s use. Other than that there’s nothing I complaint.

The place is very quiet and I slept well. They have boat service and pick you from the Flores island anytime you need. It makes me feel like in Venice :)

It was very unclear how the transportation across the river worked. One day we would pay, the next we wouldn't. They told us to message them on whatsapp for the boat to pick us up, but then responded with an automatic message saying they couldn't respond, and then charged us for the boat fare even though they didn't come pick us up and we had to pay a taxi.

The location was beautiful and the room was comfortable enough.

Staff doesnt speak any English. When you run a hotel you have to speak English. Not even a single word like thank you.

The location of the hotel was over the river which was a surprise. Not sure if we missed this in the description but it meant having to take a boat every time we went out. Not included in the rate.

The shower was dripping, we had a lot of bugs inside our room, there wasn't a glass window so we could hear everything from outside including very loud music in very late hours of the night.
