How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I liked that it is close to the airport, you can get there in no time. Also, you can get food delivered to the hostal in case you don't wanna eat what they offer there.

It was a bit cold when I stayed and there were no blankets available in my room. I messaged the property in advance letting them know the flight I'll be arriving and they acknowledged it; however, there was no one waiting for me at the airport when I arrived. You'll need to call the property when you arrive at the airport and they'll be there in 5 to 10 minutes. It'd be great to make this instructions clearer beforehand.
Complimentary shuttle is a big plus. Super close to the airport. Staff member Ramon was friendly and dilligent.

We selected the accommodation due to the shuttle only to find out the shuttle bus only operated once a day at 11:00. We needed to be there at 16:00 so that didn’t work. Also it is in a gated community which is great however coming in and out with uber or indrive was a problem.

If was very cold but there only was a very thin blanket at night. Breakfast is included but it's only white bread with some meat or marmalade, juice, coffee and tea Room was extremely small, could barely place my luggage somewhere (places it in front of the door)..

They advertise a free breakfast but it was white sliced bread with Kraft cheese singles and strawberry jam. If you wanted something more substantial you had to pay. Not the end of the world as there was still "free" food arguably, but still wanted to share so others know what to expect :)
Very close to the airport with a free shuttle, and staff were quite nice. The room was comfortable and we had a private bathroom. Perfect for one night before a flight!

The man at reception was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was hot with good pressure. The internet was good. There was a free airport shuttle for our early morning flight and it was easy to arrange it. A good place to stay when getting a flight.

For me the shuttle service was a bit confusing, because I had to write a message when I already was outside the airport. It took them a few minutes to answer and then somebody picked me up, so it did work! But I would like it better if the shuttle was confirmed beforehand.
Staff was very friendly. It’s a good choice to stay here if you need to stay near the airport.
