The jacuzzi was not available during the time I stayed at the hotwl. It also would be nice if theybwould accept credit card as payment method.

I loved thevlocarion and the lake views from the hotel. The food at the restaurant (that is inside but is different form the hotel) was awesome. The staff was kibd and friendly.

Nothing honestly, a little noisy on the Thursday night that we stayed but that was from bars outside!

Very sad they have built a noisy backpackers next door really demeaned the ambience of our hotel. Pool so dirty it was a joke. Big Dog bowl

Noisy all day and until 10 pm each night. Loud music and parties next door. Restaurant closed early Sunday at 4 pm and they didn't let us know even though we were there waiting to be served

One day we came back to our hotel without water but, it was fixed shortly after we informed the front desk.

We liked the location as it is only a few steps away from the main street. The food at the restaurant was pretty good, we loved the view of the lake, the shuttle service was a life saver and the staff were accommodating.

Room didn’t have any windows that opened so it got hot during day because it got full sun but it was ok at night

Lots of noises at night (had to sleep with earplugs) especially dogs on/off property barking.

The little pool is more a big drinking bowl for doggy's wich is great to look at and cute haha but not inviting to go in . the big windows in the room didn't open and you had to really make an effort to open the little windows on top to let some air in .

We loved the location and being on the water was great , such a beautiful view . Restaurant was good. Drinks where good . And room was spacious Overall stay was great !

Long walkway from the road to get to the hotel, they have someone come and help carry our bags. We arrived at rush hour to Guatemala. It’s, Omg, took 3 hours for driver to get out of gridlock in the city, try Plan your flight that arrives earlier. Ended up being a six hour very long drive down to the lake to the hotel, not the hotels fault at all. It isn’t being a 6 Hour Dr. in total it was after 10 PM when we got there, the restaurant was closed and we had not stopped anywhere with our driver to eat. Luckily, the lady working in the kitchen was cleaning up an offer to make us a fried egg and cheese sandwich, very much appreciated

Great breakfast, lovely restaurant and also had dinners there (different owner than hotel). They accepted Visa, hotel only took cash. Luckily I brought enough cash to cover 3 nights and the private driver, as the little town only has one ATM and it was out of service. Bring cash! We loved being able to walk along the short from the hotel to the local dock where we took a boat over to local authentic Maya towns - San Juan Laguna was the best, beautiful authentic costumes, street venders selling vegetables, chicken etc.

Not a negative about the property but just to be aware as a female solo traveller that you have to walk down a couple of alleyways to get to it which is quite dark at night

Great place - lovely location with seating right in the lake and amazing views!! Small things noted - kettle and cups in our wonderful room - but no coffee or tea which seemed odd for a 5 star . Overall had a lovely stay - restaurant service was extremely slow but great food! Property is lovely - except the pool was dirty and basically unswimmable.

I did expect a bit more comfort for the price we paid.

Reception staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Convenient location - near the boat drop off and very close to main street and all the happenings in San Marcos. Laundry service was very quick and good.

Power went out a couple times, but not hotel’s fault. They provided a little jar of coffee in the room. When we asked for just a little more, they said no. Asked if we could buy some, they said no. Not a big deal though.

Got the family suite and loved the room. Were only going to stay 1 night, but decided to book a second. Beautiful balcony with great view of the lake. Clean, spacious room with kitchen area. Pool area and private beach were great. Good WiFi.

Had 2 different rooms booked. Was a bad experience packing our stuff and moving it to the reception before checking in into our 2nd room. Would expect a better solution from a 5 star hotel.
