I wish it had a kitchen, the water in the shower is hard to control, it’s either freezing or scorching hot, I wish there was a mirror in the room. Unfortunately the noises of other people talking and having music kept me up till 11pm. WiFi only works in the lobby.

The location is easy to access, if you walk along the shore from the main San Marcos dock. Through the city/alleys, it can be a little more difficult to find. They provide entertainment through live music or trivia nights, books and games, etc. Very fun place to stay. We stayed in a private room, which was spacious and comfortable!

My first bed was not really comfortable, but I asked to change and they did. No yoga was happening, and this was something I really wanted.

The place is in front of the lake, with an amazing deck. They organize events every night, and due to Holy week we have amazing music presentations, it was great! Breakfast is delicious, they have happy hour with very good prices from 3 to 7pm, and they didn't charge me any extra fee (what is super rare in Guatemala) for using my card. In general I really really loved the hostel. The location is great, and a lake view was everything I needed at this point of my trip.

Bathrooms were not clean, quite dirty compared to other hostels we have been to in Guatemala. No communal kitchen to use.

Awesome location. So beautiful to sit down at the bar and look out across the lake. Nice vibe and lots of social activities going on. Happy hour, great bar, good little restaurant. Staff mainly all volunteers but very nice.

The fist night I stayed in a dorm room and it was fine. The next two nights I stayed in a private room and it was so noisy. The staff who were staying above my room talked so loudly until the early hours. Also, I think the room was next to some kind of downpipe and that was also really loud. Also, no hot water for the shower.

It's a very busy place with foreign backpackers volunteer working there which resulted in poor service at times. The Guatemalan staff were friendly and helpful.

The location on the lake is great. There's a small sauna which was free the day I was there. The shower had hot water.

The staff seems to be somewhat disorganised and seem to be learning the ropes. They mixed up about three drinks and food orders while I was there. They also left me waiting to be served food for over an hour as they had forgotten about me.

I like that the hotel restaurant was overlooking the lake and that they organise a barbecue with live music. People there were also very friendly. I need a couple of local with Home. I shared Green for about three hours.

Nothing worth writing about. Everything can be solved and managed if you ask the staff.

Big, beautiful hostel on the lake, like it's own little village. The main area is comfortable and beautiful, with a firepit to enjoy in the evenings. The bar/terrace area is well equipped and really comfortable. The views from the terrace are unbelievable! Location is perfect, and it's easily accessible. The staff are fantastic and will happily help you with anything you need.

I had a top bunk and my bed was tilted so it felt all night that I'm gonna roll out my bed. Also the dorm is quiet far away from the main building. The dorm is right next to a semi busy street so it will be a bit loud untill midnight.

Not good for people that don't like dogs. Dogs are literally everywhere, in the bar, in front of your room door, laying in the seating bags, this leads to dog smell everywhere. If you pay in card they'll cover you 5% more so keep in mind to have enough cash. Unfortunately we also had to deal with loud drunk people in the sauna, coming back late and waking up early. Probably the outcome of a lack of rules. As a place dedicated to a chill yoga environment it was a bit out of place that we had to remind the staff of that.

Location next to the lake provides nice views. Sauna on sundays for free. Staff was mostly friendly and looking for solutions. Calm zone of the city, no car noises.

The room is really basic. The bathroom had a strong piping smell that made our experience uncomfortable. From discussions with other people, this is not the only room with this issue.

The common areas are great, the location with the view and direct access to the lake, the staff is easy and friendly. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table.
