Kindest couple ever, perfect accommodations for coming and going from the airport. They even provided an airplane snack and rides to the airport. Casa Quetzal make you feel at home, the world needs more people like them!

The couple who run the hotel are so nice, literally got up in the middle of the night to let me check in because my flight was delayed. Hotel was pretty clen and the breakfast was good.

Very comfortable and clean. Most importantly we received the warmest of welcomes after an easy walk from the airport, and even a drop off to the airport at 4am because of the rain when we expected to have to walk. Such hospitality

The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Towels and toiletries were supplied. Most importantly, the owners completely stole our hearts. We have never felt so at home and attended to. They were overly gracious by making a delicious breakfast and driving us the airport to accommodate our early flight. We would highly reccomend Casa Quetzal to anybody!!

The shower with electric heating in one room stays to hot.

Just a short walk to the airport, there’s a sports bar nearby for food and drinks. The place is safe with a secure fence, but the standout feature is the incredible friendly and helpful host ( and here husband) who speaks good English. They thoughtfully offered room suggestions so the kids feel comfortable and even drove us to the sports bar at arrival and to the airport at 4am due to the rain.

The hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to help make our stay wonderful. They picked us up from the airport (after we were delayed) and took us to find an ATM when the nearest one didn’t work. The hosts also gave us tips for places to visit. We had a great stay! Breakfast was provided as well.

Really friendly owners and great service. Even though I left before official breakfast time I got a lovely lunch bag and was offered a ride towards the airport. It was a pleasure visiting!

Close to the airport! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was delicious. There is a kitchen available to use and a small seating area. We got a good night's sleep. The ride to the airport was appreciated.

Everything was perfect

Had such a wonderful experience staying here. The hosts went above and beyond to make me feel welcome – warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. What truly stood out was their thoughtfulness: since my flight was early and Id miss breakfast, they even prepared snacks for me to take along. It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Above it was near to the airport and Edgar and Yvonne picked me up and took me back although it’s only five minutes away. It’s quiet and relaxed and has a lovely roof terrace looking out onto Pacaya volcano which is beautiful. Breakfast was scrummy.

Very comfortable accommodation with a perfect location super close to the Airport. Our room was clean and nicely equipped, we had everything we needed. Our stay had breakfast included, where we got homemade pancakes with banana and scrambled eggs with bread. It was really delicious. The owners are also super nice people with good English level, they were helpful and even offered us a transfer to the airport (we were a bit of a rush).
