The apartment had a big bathroom amazing bed and incredible views. We cooked meals in the kitchen everyday and the washing machine was a bonus when travelling for 6 weeks. Stella was very friendly and helpful. This is a very hilly area so be prepared for some steep uphill walks.

The accommodation was perfect, comfortable and beautiful setting. Stella spoilt us with fresh fruit and pancakes. We loved the area and the local beach and port are beautiful. Lots of good restaurants in the area.

Everything was great about the apartment.

The accomodation was very nice. The hosts were more than wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, always ready to talk to us, give us some helpful advice. The apartment was comfortable, we had an attic that you had to climb to with a ladder, very fun for the kids. It is very well equipped, you have everything you need. It is emerged in olive and fig trees and the view from our apartment was amazing, facing the coastline and the beautiful sea. The owners had a lot of cats in the yard so our kids had a lot of fun playing with them. Mrs Stella went beyond hospitality and baked us a chocolate cake, which we really enjoyed eating with a cup of coffee on our splendid terrace.

We weren’t fans of the general area but I’m sure a lot of people would really enjoy the ruggedness of the area.

Charming apartment with beautiful furnishings. They had a welcome bottle of water in the refrigerator and even fresh fruit and a homemade dessert for us upon arrival. Beautiful garden and grounds and convenient parking spot but we had to cut our trip short due to not liking the general area.

Nothing to complain about.

We spent two weeks at Zacharoula rooms and it was all delightful. Stella and her family gave us a very warm welcome. Our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of the coast below, there was a garden to enjoy and communal spaces. The kitchen was very well equipped too. Someone (Stella I imagine)hard thought about the details - a special bar of soap, homemade jam, decent coffee. It was all low key but very well run.

Stella and Stefanos are the best hosts ever. They are very friendly and very thoughtful. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Our suite was very well-equipped; it had everything guests might possibly need during their stay. And everything was sparkling clean. We had a great stay!

Stella and her husband are exceptional hosts. The views from our bedroom were amazing and we felt really at pace and at home! This is a very special place to stay at, we can definitely recommend it.

The WiFi was set to WPA instead of WPA2 or WPA3 so it wasn’t secure and I couldn’t connect. Stella offered to have maintenance come out and fix it but we didn’t have time to wait. We didn’t have very good cell service either.

The view was wonderful and the room was very clean. Stella and Victoria were awesome host and went above anything we expected to make our stay perfect. We arrived late and Victoria took us to a great restaurant down the road that was open which we would have never found. Our room didn’t have an oven or washer so Stella opened the apartment next to ours for us to use.

I had read the other reviews, singing praises. I thought surely they are exaggerated nothing can be that good... Believe me Zacharoula rooms is THE BEST place I have ever stayed at .. it is up in the steep mountain, and it really is steep , be prepared for. Very strenuous uphill walks through breathtaking scenery. It's spotless .. the rooms are beautiful, you feel AT HOME but not like in someone's home .. Stella is the most helpful , caring host I've ever met

Everything is planned out with great attention to details. The view is incredible and all amenities function perfectly and are designed with love. We will definitely come back! Our hosts were so welcoming and we will miss their hospitality :)
