Amazing property - close to an amazing beach that is not as crowded as other beaches, restaurants and shops also very close, the area is very calm, the apartement was clean and had all the necessary things :) The host is very kind and happy to help with everything. Will definitely book again when in Crete!

The mosquitos who murdered us even with anti-mosquito pills and burning devices. The bathroom was a miniature of a real bathroom.

Excellent location,close to sea.Stores and lokantas around,good food,decent prices. Supermarket 7 min walk,close ATMs.Excellent beach called Havana,free sunbeds but you must but a coffee, sodas juice.. Good food at Havana beach,sea food a little expensive but it's worth the grilled ones. There are stones at the entrance in the sea,bring swimming shoes!!!!

What could be changed: - No utensils for the microwave; something like a glass (better) or plastic bowl for cooking is needed. - The frying pan is very bad, it should be changed. What cannot be changed, but please be aware: - The bathroom has a small shower stall that can be closed with a curtain, but water still ends up on the floor. No worries, though! There's a drain hole and a mop to help with that. :-) - As is the case almost everywhere in Greece in summer, remember to take mosquito repellents with you (or buy them in local shops).

Great localization. First, one can take a direct bus to/from the airport and Heraklion. Then, it is 170 meters to the sea. Plenty of grocery stores. The place is quiet (only one evening there was a concert in a hotel nearby). Other than that, no noise from the street or people. Excellent wireless internet!!! There is a drying rack on the balcony. Also, there is a patio space. Great air conditioning in the apartment, and it is well placed on the wall. Good and comfortable bed.

Very nice, quite and cozy place. 2 minutes walk from the beach, shops, restaurants nearby, parking available in front of the house, friendly and helpful personnel. Well equipped kitchen with all necessary dishes for cooking, coffee machine, microwave, fridge. Comfortable bed.

Very close to the beach (you can actually see the sea from your window) and to taverns, markets, bus stops etc; the studio was clean and we had everything we needed!

Location was very good. Close to the Beach on one and main street to the other side, where all necessary stores are located. The hosts (Maria and her family) were great, providing all help we needed, cleaning the rooms and change of sheets and towels was more often then expected. All in all very nice place for the family to stay!

We loved the spacy apartment, the light and the balcony with the sea view. It was 5 minutes walking distance from the public beach and the main road with supermarket an the bus stop. It was cleaned every second day and the towels and sheets were exchanges also. The host gave us spare blanket and sheets when requested. The neighborhood was safe a nd quiet. The entrance was beautiful. I loved the place.

Slightly uncomfortable bathroom due to the size of the shower

Very nice and pleasant owners, picturesque garden in front of the house, well-kept building. The room is large and spacious, with a comfortable but old renovation. The shower may seem small. Distance to the sea - 2 minutes on foot, public transport stop - 3 minutes on foot, very convenient to get from the city center by bus.

The shower is a bit narrow and the shower curtain sticks to you which means it's either awkward to take a shower or you're going to flood the bathroom a little. We also had ants in the kitchen in our ground floor apartment, so don't think about leaving food on the counter. But these are all minor things.

The location is right next to the beach that was never crowded. A bus stop that takes you to the city center is also very close. The owners are nice and the place is clean. There's even room cleaning service which was a pleasant surprise for us.

Apartments few steps from the beach. On the beach some all-day beach clubs, one direcly next to apartments. Simple but clean, was able to self-check late night. Very good communication with Maria. All the best.

The location of the apartment was great. very close to the beautiful beach of Ammoudara. We loved having two balconies, one on the beautiful garden and one with sea view. We very much enjoyed having breakfast and dinner facing the sea.. Shops, services, bus stop are within walking distance from the apartment. The host Maria, with parents Yannis and Nike are very kind and very helpful.

Good internet signal but not the best speed. It's fine for normal but non-business use. I suggest mosquito nets on all doors/windows to leave them open on cool evenings instead of using the air conditioner.

Apartment completely renovated with style and equipped with everything you need. Very clean. Equipped with microwave, balcony with table and chairs, private parking. The owners live in the structure so they are always ready to solve any problem. It is located a few meters from the sea and in a lively but at the same time not crowded area. Excellent base for visiting the eastern part of the island.

The two beds in the living room were too short for our tall boys.

The location was excellent - around 100 metres from the beach and the vicinity of the main street in Gazi. Our hostess Maria was extremely helpful and kind.

The kitchen furniture was very outdated -old, like going back in time 15 years ago. (we only use if for coffee) The bathroom had a small shower basin 60cmx60cm (I am very slim) with a shower curtain that could not be used and looked very unhealthy. The bathroom was flooding on each shower... it was a 2 star bathroom.. You can see the sea, but the palms in the pictures are no longer there...

The studio was clean, the bedroom was refurbished, There was a plastic filter for coffee, but we asked for an Italian style simple expresser that was provided. They changed the towels and swept the floors after 2 nights.

There is a problem with ants and also the kitchen are combined with kids room/ singles beds and it’s really tiny. But there is different rooms, it depends on what you choose.

The place is very close to the beach, literally 2 minutes. The owner is very nice, allowed us to stay in the apartment until the evening as we had a late flight. She also helped us understand the area and called a cab when we needed it. We are really very grateful to her.

The beds were dire ! All of us in agony every morning, bed like concrete! I was given a thin mattress from a Z bed to put on top of the mattress but the others in the group suffered the whole trip. The elderly owner struggled to even acknowledge us, quite uncomfortable when seeing him.

Pretty much the only problem: no mosquito nets on the main doors to the two balokny, therefore nights are uncomfortable when there is no crosswind in the room. Please put on the retracteable nets! On both balkony doors. No mikrowave.

The best view in my 18-years experience. Top floor rooms (4,2) have direct seaview blakony in the best price when compared to adjacent apartments and hotels. Constant crosswind, which means no need to use AC! Two balkonies per apartment! Very friendly family keeping up the block.

Nothing, everything is perfect.

Everything is amazing and kept at great condition, with the most beautiful garden. The owners are very helpful, wonderful people. This property is very clean, they even have house keeping that comes and clean or brings fresh linen with no additional cost. Property is very conveniently located very close to the sea, offering beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset, you can look and the mountains while enjoying the sea breeze. There are many shops, restaurants and markets with in a short walking distance with fresh produce daily.
