Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCompared to local restaurants, we found the Food and Beverage costs to be significantly higher at the Hotel but that said it certainly did not deter us from dining in there.
Our stay at White Rocks Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From our initial check in experience, where we learnt we had been upgraded to half board through to our final check out. The staff consistently went beyond to ensure we had everything we needed — always helpful, polite, and eager to make our experience unforgettable. We stayed in a Double room with balcony overlooking the Beach. The room was modern, stylish, and spotlessly cleaned every single day. The food was outstanding. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. We never had a bad meal the entire stay. One of the things we loved most was the relaxing atmosphere. There was never any stress about finding sunbeds, and the views from the hotel were simply breath taking. I/we recommend White Rocks Hotel. A beautiful place and wonderful people. Cannot wait to return

TurkeyThe open buffet food was a disaster. Maybe it’s time to move away from overconsumption and instead offer fewer options but with higher quality and better taste. The so-called house white wine, which we ordered and paid for during dinner, tasted like pure vinegar. In a country famous for olives, the ones served at breakfast gave nothing but the taste of vinegar and acid. Adopting a ‘minimum variety, maximum quality’ philosophy is an absolute must for a place blessed with such natural beauty. Finally, à la carte dinner reservations are set for 7:00 PM, which means you have to leave the beautiful sea behind to make it on time. Also, the beach bar — located at the perfect spot for watching the sunset — closes at 6:00 PM, right at the best time of the day and the peak moment for potential sales. Cutting off service during the most valuable hours is beyond comprehension.
Magnificent nature and sea. The resort is spotless with a very well-maintained landscape. The hotel staff are very friendly, especially the staff working at the bar of the à la carte restaurant — they are excellent.

IsraelDear White Rocks Team, We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the outstanding hospitality and exceptional service, we received during our stay at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming attitude of the entire staff. Your willingness to assist with every request, no matter how big or small, made our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. The level of kindness and professionalism displayed was remarkable and deeply appreciated. The hotel itself offers excellent conditions — the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and every detail is thoughtfully arranged. We especially want to highlight the breathtaking view from the dining area, which made every meal a memorable experience. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere throughout the hotel provided the perfect setting for relaxation and rest. Thank you again for making our stay so pleasant. We will warmly recommend your hotel to others and certainly look forward to returning in the future. With highly appreciation, The Landau family AUG 2025 ISRAEL 🇮🇱

PortugalThe air conditioning is centrally controlled and only operates while you're in the room. It takes a while to kick in, but after about an hour it cools the space effectively. It’s a pity there isn’t a remote control, as it would be much more convenient to adjust the temperature without getting out of bed.
The hotel offers excellent amenities, notably its close proximity to the public beach and access to a private beach. Although the private beach is pebbled, it's peaceful and perfect for relaxing on high-quality sunbeds, with convenient bar service nearby. The breakfast is generous, varied, and of high quality.

RomaniaThe hotel beach is quite small and rocky, but there’s a great sandy beach just 5–10 minutes away on foot, with sunbeds, tavernas, and water sports. Access to both beaches involves going up and down stairs (around 3 floors), which may matter for some. Wi-Fi could be stronger.
The hotel is beautifully located on a cliff above the sea, with amazing sunset views from the terrace — a truly relaxing atmosphere. Spacious, very clean rooms. Fresh beach towels were provided in the room every evening, which was a nice touch. The food was outstanding — both breakfast and dinner were truly delicious, with great variety and quality. Super friendly and helpful staff. Everyone went out of their way to assist us. The center of Argostoli is just 10 minutes away by taxi (€8–10).

IsraelWe loved everything! The hotel is not suitable for those who have difficulty walking.
The hotel is simply lovely! We weren't supposed to be in the area and the booking was made without too much thought, so we didn't have that many expectations. And we were just pleasantly surprised by everything! The service was excellent, we were supposed to leave early in the morning and they made sure that a taxi would arrive on time and that someone would help us with our luggage. They give us dinner throughout our stay at the hotel for free. The room was spacious, the pool is amazing! There are plenty of places to sit. The beach is right next to the hotel. There is a lovely area with pubs and restaurants a 7-minute walk from the hotel.

United KingdomNothing not to like. Only thing to say is that it’s quite difficult to get a Sun lounger around the pool, for such a large hotel, I think perhaps an extra swimming pool would be good. With that said, the hotel has a small private beach and the bigger beach is only a few minute walk away. The fitness room is quite small, you have to pre-book a slot and you can only fit 1-2 people in at a time.
So many things we loved about this hotel! Immaculately clean, set in beautiful grounds with amazing sunset views. Very short distance from the airport and a short 10-15 minute walk into Lassi. Every single member of staff were so friendly and accommodating, they really went the extra mile to ensure we had the best possible holiday. We only had breakfast included but on arrival they let us have a complimentary buffet dinner which was really lovely after a long day of travelling. Lots of choice of hot and cold food at breakfast, staff work really hard to clean up tables quickly so even when it was busy, it was always very easy to get a table. Evening entertainment is brilliant, live music and singers. Recommend getting involved in the Zorbas Dance on Greek night! :)

PolandIf I could add one thing, it would be more evening entertainment.
We had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a large and beautiful territory with a private beach (pebbly) and easy access to a public sandy beach (€15–20 for two sunbeds). The sea is crystal clear — perfect for swimming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a great variety of fresh vegetables, meat, and fish. Coffee at breakfast was especially good! Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We would love to come back — highly recommended!

SwitzerlandWe booked via reception for the a La carte restaurant but they did not seem to have our booking on arrival. They did make a plan and we had a lovely dinner. Drinks took long to arrive in buffet restaurant.
The rooms were modern and had all the amenities needed. Beds were comfortable. Rose in housekeeping was wonderful and arranged a face cloth for me. The staff at reception were incredibly professional and helpful and we had an amazing stay. The hotel is just gorgeous! The staff at the pool and a la carte restaurant were amazing.

United KingdomThere’s nothing we didn’t like.
White Rocks is a high quality hotel with an excellent location close to possibly the best sandy beach in the island- Makris Galios and walkable to Lassi. Both the buffet and lungomare restaurants are excellent, we had a sea room with stunning views, the staff are really nice and helpful and service very good. The hotel has a great pool, beach bar and a relatively small private beach as well.
