We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The host is amazing. He was kind enough to pick us up from the airport and to take us back to the airport when we were leaving. The room was very clean, we had almost every day new towels and the cleaning lady is a lovely lady and very nice.

Location was excellent as we stayed in the viva mare studios near the port .The owner kindly changed our room as the traditional studio was beautiful but situated high up in the village. Excellent host very helpful and obliging.

CyprusBooking photos of the room & of the inhouse facilities meet the reality!! The owners were so friendly and mainly helpful with whatever we needed. They have provided a pick up from the airport and a free taxi to our ferry and also a mosquito machine as soon as we have asked for it along with reccommendations on where to eat and which beaches to visit. Owners have also offered a box with bread, honey, yogurt etc for breaksfast during our 1st day. We have stayed in a split unit room with a stunning view of the harbour and Platy Yialos. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and our towels were changed on a daily basis; The location was absolutely perfect, just beneath the Castro with easy access to the bars, cafes, and restaurants of Chora. I will stay again once we visit Astypalaia again.
