How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It wasn’t far from the centre of Fira but the walk was all uphill quite steep in places which was hard in the heat in August.
The villa was clean and tidy. The family who owned the villa were friendly and were keen to ensure that our stay went well. We saw some beautiful sunrises over the sea. The hot tub was an added bonus.

About 15 mins walk uphill to Fira, completely manageable walk for mobile people but one to be aware of

It was a little far from Fira up a hill. In the spring time this would be fine but in the height of summer it was a very hot 15-20 min walk into town.
The pool was great and the staff were welcoming and friendly. They were really helpful with organising a transfer from the airport for us. The outdoor spaces were really lovely as well.

A bit far out from the town / centre of Santorini . Dont think our hot tub worked but we never inquired about it.
The property was unreal. Personal pool , lots of space and really cute balcony/ outdoor areas ! Beds super comfortable and shower was really nice. Left loads of little body washes and 5 toothbrushes and mini toothpaste which was a really nice touch! Staff were so sound as well.

I liked everything it was great.
The owners are great, very friendly and helpful. The apartments were clean and were cleaned every day. The location is great 10 minutes walk from the city centre so there is very quiet and calm. The bathtubs worked and we used it few times the same as swimming pool.

It was a little bit of a walk to the main centre. Maybe 15mins. In the heat it is unbearable. But once it cools down it’s not so bad
It was a nice little villa with all the required amenities. The staff were so amazing and hospitable. I would definitely recommend this property.

We didn't hire a car, we never do in Greece, so the walk to Thira is up a steep hill - 30 minute walk - so in the August sun it was quite a mission to walk there and back and taxis become expensive. The closest bus stop is Thira, so a good 15 mins walk into town so ideally you do really need a car
We had a couple of really enjoyable days in Village Anto Fira it is a lovely spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities you would need. The family are lovely really kind and attentive. We enjoyed our 2 days exploring Thira, trying to beat the crowds in August, but the room was competitively prices for what you got and the proximity to Thira.

The wifi connection was not the best but other than that everything else was perfect.
Amazing people, super friendly and always ready to help. The appartment was very comfortable for a group of 5 people, clean and spacious. 15 mins walk from the center.

Very friendly, flexible staff, private patio with Lay-Z-Spa (for apartment 1), everything was new or very well maintained, walking distance from the center of Fira (15 minutes).

The internet and phone signal inside the bedroom and sometimes the lounge did not work or was very poor and / or inconsistent.
Amazing hospitality, really nice and friendly staff. The pool and hot tub / jacuzzi were great. The location was amazing too, close to Fira / Thera (5 mins from the property)

Unfortunately the WiFi never worked in our room, only outside in the pool area.
We were received by the owner very late in the night, she helped us to settle and get comfortable and even helped us to get food through restaurant delivery. The rooms were super clean and tidy. My kids loved the jacuzzi and the pool. The location is wonderful, 5 minutes driving from the town. Everything is well taken care.

Household goods are not great quality, its an open swimming pool , so lot of dust, flies and bugs are accumulated. The swimming pool does not have any self-cleaning equipment. It has to be manually cleaned every day with a net. Jacuzzi is the same, it will take 8 to 10 hours to warm the water Location to nearest grocery shop is 20 min walk, challenge is you end up in walking uphill one way
Facilities are good, you have have santorini fell, great staff.
