The size of the place is very huge, especially the terrace with excellent location right in the center of oia , separate kitchen and amazing views . The host response to my emails was very good, so I made a request for airport transfers and birthday decorations. Everything was arranged as requested. The manager vasilas was very warm helpful with the luggages suggested good food places , got the villa cleaned every morning helped us with whatever requirements we needed.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Villa520 so much!! The owner was very responsive and helpful leading up to our trip. She even helped us book transportation to and from the ferry. Our concierge, Vasilis, was also wonderful. He had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. He made our stay easy and smooth. Finally, the location of the villa is unmatched! Right in the heart of Oia. Beautiful view of the water and easy to walk to tons of fantastic restaurants. Would go back in a heartbeat.

It is easy for any traveler to look at the photos provided and know that you are about to stay at a stunning villa in Oía. What you can't see before you arrive is the EXCEPTIONAL service that will be given to your by Vasilis, the property conceirge. When they ask you in advance to arrange a transfer or anything else, take them up on the offer. Vasilis will make sure your Santorini experience is the best it can be. He greets you with a warm smile and a generous, hospitable attitude and he goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you might need. It was our friends birthday and fulfilled my advance request to have flowers and a cake upon arrival. 😃 We enjoyed that cake everyday for the entire trip by the way. Every restaurant he recommended was top notch and offered the best food and the best service on the island. When we chose our own spots we noticed a difference. Vasilis kept our party of 6 with various personalities comfortable and cared for. The cleaning staff was also exceptional. You can follow the photos, because even the beautiful ones can't truly show you the beauty of staying in Villa Santorini 520, or you can follow our advice that a beautiful villa alone does not make a great vacation. The people are what make you feel welcome and cared for. Thank you to Vasilis for truly knowing how to host international travelers. Well , it’s the caldera along the slope so couldn’t do much about the steps one has to take . But perhaps they could put something to grab unto while walking thru the steps would be nice .

The location is just perfect . Vasilis, our host, was exceptional, he made sure our stay was comfortable. You go up and shopping along Oia is right there . Have your own oasis and privacy as you enter the property. Soak yourself with the amazing views of the caldera. Can’t see the sunset but a short walk towards Fanari restaurant for sunset dining was simply divine . Highly recommend private dining in the deck . You could not go wrong in this property. We totally had a great time here while in Santorini.

The property was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. Our host, Vassilis, was wonderful! He made everything a breeze, from helping get our luggage up/down the steps, to making sure we made our connections and helping when our transfer went to the wrong place. The villa itself had the most gorgeous view, and the heated pool was a plus! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and we were pleased that we got daily housekeeping, beds made and fresh towels. Highly recommended if you stay in Oia. Right in the heart of all of the wonderful shopping and extraordinary views of the caldera!

This is a fantastic villa in a fantastic location with a fantastic view! Oia is pretty busy (for good reason as it is beautiful), but this is just a haven all to yourselves. We could have spent all day every day in that pool looking at the caldera view. Vasilis was very warm and welcoming too. A lovely spot.

The floor of the bedroom was not cleaned properly. On our first evening in the villa I dropped an earring so had to get down on my hands and knees to find it. I was surprised that the floor near the master bedroom mirror was covered in dust, dirt and long black hair. I realise that there may not have been much time to do a thorough clean before we arrived. The bathroom had a damp, musky smell and the walls had areas where moisture was causing the surface to peel and crumble. It is a cave villa, so quite understandable. It was great to have a pool, but in my opinion, it would have been nicer if the colour wasn’t brown as it made the water look brown. The colour didn’t really bother me, but my daughter was hesitant to get in because she thought it looked dirty. We were advised by the hostess that it is very important never to flush any toilet paper down the toilet or the pipes will get blocked. We were very careful not to do this, but on one occasion I nearly forgot, and had to go back and pull out the wet toilet paper before flushing it. This is a problem in all of Santorini, not just this villa. There was no drinking water provided. We had to buy all of our own drinking water and I gave feedback about this via the bookings.com site as I found it strange that we were given daily breakfast provisions but no water. The host didn’t rectify it but instead said my feedback would be considered. Security is taken very lightly. The safety deposit box in the bedroom was so light, it could be easily lifted by my 13 year old daughter and was not a safe place to leave our valuables. However, the hostess assured me that the villa is a very safe place. This is despite the fact that crowds of tourists stand outside the roped off area of the villa stairs on a daily basis taking photos. This is a testament to the amazing views, but still an an inconvenience every time we left or entered the villa.

There was a good amount of space for our family of 5. The views over the Caldera were very beautiful. The villa is right next door to all the shops and restaurants of Oia. The pool was great as the weather was very hot. Porters were provided to help us with our luggage. The hostess met us on site. A big effort was made to have the villa ready for our slightly early check-in. Prior to our arrival, the hostess was helpful recommending restaurants, activities and in arranging airport transport for us. When my daughter accidently left her phone in the vehicle that took us to the airport, the hostess was a fantastic help in finding somebody who would transport it back to us.
