Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThese things didn’t bother us at all (and I think made the property and location even more special for us) but may be more difficult for some: You need a car to stay at this property - would be pretty impossible to reach without one. If you don’t have a 4x 4 then you need to park a little way from the property. However, the host was very helpful and met us in Agios Gordios on arrival to show us the way and then transported our bags to the property door (and also transported our bags back to the car on departure). There is a short, steep path down to the water from the property (as well as a steep path from the car parking to the property) which would not be suitable for anyone that would struggle with this.
Very relaxing 5 nights at Villa Fillipos. We loved everything about it! Very peaceful location with virtually private pebbly beach swimming spot. There was a kayak we could use and the property even had 2 visiting kittens which delighted the children! A short drive from AgiosGordios which seems to be a lovely (sandy) beach resort, but barely went there (except for the supermarket and 1 meal out) as we were so happy in our little bubble! The villa is bijou but there is plenty of outside space to spread out into. We are a family of 5 so 1 child had to sleep on a sofa bed in the sitting room / kitchen but we were very happy with this. This bed was made up ready for us on arrival. The hosts were very welcoming and extremely helpful.

United KingdomNothing really just that the access is steep, and the beach is tricky to access over rocks. Booking.com does not link correctly when you book a taxi from the airport to the villa, so I would recommend taking Irene’s advice and help in booking the transfer.
The view of the sea was wonderful! The kayaks were very useful. Irene and Phillipos were very kind and helpful.

United KingdomAs others have mentioned it is a very steep path to get to the property and you have to be very fit and able to stay here. We got used to it quite quickly but we are fairly fit people and found it was a good cardio workout to start the day!
The villa was beautiful facing the sea with the sound of waves as you sleep it couldn't be more idyllic. The villa has everything you will need for a comfortable stay and the owners were always responsive to any questions. They were a great help getting our luggage down. It is in the most beautiful location on the west coast a perfect base to explore the island. It is a quiet location with lots of nature around you. The view out of the bedroom window is wonderful to wake up to in the morning.

LatviaSea is quite wild at premises (but 10-15 min walk you can find sandy beach). Steep walkway to car or sea but still manageable
Villa Philippos is very private even with some neighbours. Super feature is a boat when no big waves. The closest village is either short drive or longer walk

United KingdomThe access to the villa and to the beach is very steep and you certainly need to be reasonably fit to stay here. You have to park 100m away from the property.
We stayed in Villa Filippos. The villa is very clean and well equipped and has everything you could need for a wonderful stay. The views are breathtaking and there is plenty of outside space. Beach towels were also provided. Irene and Filippos were excellent hosts.

United KingdomWe had a week's stay at Villa Fillipos with our two young boys and the property was just fantastic. The outdoor area had several seating options, sun loungers and the great plunge pool. The views were stunning and the beach (accessed via quite steep steps) was almost private and just bliss. We had a great time snorkelling and swimming and the walk to the village via the coast/beach took about half an hour. We loved our stay and would 100% visit again.

IsraelThe location is incredible, with the beach and sea almost entirely yours to enjoy. The villa was well-equipped and ideal for our trip. We particularly appreciated having a kayak and paddleboard to explore the coast, and the sunsets from the villa were stunning. Though there is a steep walk down from the road, you quickly get used to it. Irena and Filipos were fantastic hosts, helping us with our luggage and ensuring everything was perfect during our stay. Their attention to detail in maintaining the villa was evident. Our kids had a great time in the swimming pool, which was always at just the right temperature. We had a truly memorable stay!

SwitzerlandThis is a small very well equipped, clean and well constructed dream villa almost directly at the sea (50m) with an almost private beach (both stony and sandy) great for snorkeling in a very calm setting surrounded by green vegetation, three other houses in the neighborhood and a spectacular view. The hosts are very very friendly and helpful. It includes a small garden with tomatoes and vegetables, which you can pick. In addition, there is a sea kayak for further exploration of the coast including an island rock with a church close by. One can not imagine a more beautiful relaxing place on Korfu.

United Arab EmiratesThe path down to the Villa is extremely steep. It’s a challenge bringing groceries down to the house. Only A/C in upper rooms.
Amazing location, hard to beat. Remote and directly at the sea. Cute little house. Nice terraces, bbq and small pool/ jacuzzi. Ideal to spend lazy days. Kayaks are available to go out on little trips: rocks, small beaches and a monastery to visit. Managed by a friendly, helpful couple.

The house is beautifully done and fit our family well. The place was so clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. The views were mazing from every part of the house. United KingdomThe location of villa Renata was absolutely amazing. The beach was practically your own, and we loved taking the paddle boards out and exploring the coastline. The layout of the house meant you had the most spectacular views from wherever you were, and there was always a sunny or shady spot to enjoy. The villa itself was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. We wanted to say a huge thankyou to our hosts Ireana and Fillipos who were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. Our daughter needed to go to the hospital one day and they went out of their way to make sure we were ok and looked after. This villa is pretty special and I think it would be hard to find something better. Highly recommend!!!

SwitzerlandThe road in as a narrow Greek road and the hill is steep from the private dedicated parking area to the Villa. Perfectly fitting for us!
Villa Filippos is located about 30 m up from an almost private sandy and rocky beach - with great opportunities to swim or board. It has a beautiful dip pool and many seating areas to lie in shade or sun. The view of the sea is incredible and the location quite private. The only sounds are of the waves, the Grasshoppers and crickets. What a beautiful relaxing time we had - and the sunsets were unforgettable. After stocking up in Agios Giorgos we never the left the place, except for one evening to walk into town along the beach (good shoes needed) for dinner and drinks. The hosts - Irena and Filippos assist you with luggage in and out from the parking area, are extremely accommodating, and promptly answer any questions you may have. We will definitely come back!

United KingdomThe location is amazing. The beach / sea is essentially yours to enjoy. The villa itself is well equipped and was perfect for our trip. We hired a car for the week yet we soon realised we had everything to enjoy ourselves at the villa. There was a kayak/paddle board provided for both villas which we could take for a little excursion up the coast. Agios Gordios was 30min walk away on the beach and had some great bars/restaurants, more "buzzy" than we expected. You also get a fantastic sunset from there. We were aware there could be a steep walk from the road at the top down (and it was!) but you soon get used to this. Irena/filipos helped to bring down our luggage which magically appeared at the villa! We had a minor maintainance issue with the AC but Irena/Fillipos sorted it same day so quickly. They are lovely owners and clearly take pride in keeping the villas to a high standard, making sure you have everything you need.

United KingdomI actually liked the place and the house is a very good value-for-money, so just some minor suggestions: a hair dryer would be great - that was one thing missing. There was no hoover, but it was quickly delivered when I requested it. There's no dish washer, but wasn't a big problem for us.
Location. The location is amazing, if slightly remote, on the west coast of Corfu, above what's effectively a semi-private beach, which is never too crowded. Seaview to die for - miles of blue from all your windows - it's worth coming just for that, and you won't get such a view very often. The house is 2.5km away from the main road, and about a third of these 2.5km is a dirt road, but wasn't an issue and in return you can escape the crowd. From the parking space you have to walk 200m down to reach the house, but the hosts helped us with the bags, so again, wasn't a problem at all. Hosts. The hosts are super friendly, available and very helpful - they are nice warm people, greeted us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruits and were flexible with checkout time since they didn't have guests right after us. Facilities. Everything about the house was as expected: the house was nicely clean, bedlinen was white, there's enough towels, they provide beach towels, the kitchen has nice china, pots, pans, a filter coffee machine, a toaster; there's an aircon and mosquito nets. The living area is quite small, but easily compensated by the outside space (balcony, and two terraces) where you'd be spending time in warm weather.

United KingdomThe villa was beautiful, with outstanding views. From the start the hosts were very accommodating. A very nice fruit bowl, croissants, coffee and wine met us on arrival. We met them at a location and followed them down the road to the villa. We chose a small car, but a small 4x4 would be advisable as you could park slightly closer to the villa. The walk up and down from the car to the villa is steep but manageable. The walk across the beach to Adios Gordios was lovely. Very rocky but again more than manageable. We would recommend Ark restaurant on the beach. We had a slight issue with the hot water but it was dealt with straight away, no complaints. The villa is very well equipped and maintained. We would 100% recommend. The hosts could not be nicer. They communicate very well and efficiently.
