Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

You have to walk to the beach about 10 minutes but the area of the villa is quite. So , you have to choose between being close and noisy or a bit far and silent.
The room was a bit small but nice and cosy. The owner was very friendly and hospitable, offering us almost every evening cakes and melon. He is a very nice and communicative person. The room was clean and the cleaning was made every 3 days. It was a good accommodation.

Everything was just perfect, the hosts were amazing, helpful and kind, and the accommodations were very clean with beautiful new furniture and a well equipped kitchen. The building even has an elevator.

The property looks the same as in the pictures, it’s lovely and clean, modern with an elevator which is very helpful if you’re traveling with small children. The front yard is wonderful and everything is tidy. The rooms are clean and modern, everything works great inside the rooms. It’s very quiet at night which is perfect for getting a good night’s sleep for everyone, kids included. The owners, Anestis and his family, are very friendly, nice and hospitable. They even gave us a baby bed for our baby, even though we didn’t request one previously. Super nice. We had a really good time there and we will come back again for sure. Thank you. 🫶🏻

The kitchen is very small and not for preparing food but more for coffee and tea

It was wonderful, everything, the host, the place, the room. Everything was really lovely! Even though we arrived kind of late, around midnight (we announced that we might arrive late, but didn't know when exactly), the owner was expecting us with a smile and kind words. He was very nice and helpful, answering all our questions, helping with informations and advice. We even got homemade cake and sweets. The room was exceptional, with new furniture, we had two rooms (one was with the kitchenette), one with a double bed, the other one with twin beds, a bit too soft for us, but very confy, all. We had two balconies, each with a table and chairs and shading curtains. The bathroom was very clean and pleasent. The view was towards mount Olimp. The location for us was perfect, not too close to the beach and the shops and taverns, so it was pretty quiet, but was not far either, on foot we reached the nearest beach in ~10 min., and the shops too. I really recommend Villa Rafailia, we had a wonderful time here and most certainly will come back soon!

The host, pleasant, helpful, kind and very positive man. The rating is 10. Cleanliness at the highest level. For kindness and hospitality, there is no such high rating, it is not for 10 its for 20.We will definitely come again next year

The villa is very modern and clean. The host is very hospitable and polite, during our stay he gave us home made cookies, easter bread, popcorn and a bottle of olives and liquor drink - these were very nice surprises and everting was delicious. There is a spacious elevator which is handy in case you are situated on the 3rd floor. The beds were very comfortable. Also in the garden there are tables to sit and have a drink / breakfast in case you are a company of several families. I recommend this place and we will visit it again for sure.

Everything was really perfect. Very clean and very nice hotel. A beautiful garden where you can have dinner, drink your coffee or just relax. The owner is a very kind and caring for the comfort of the guests. He gave us many surprise presents like home made cookies, vinegar, olives. We really liked our stay here and we will come back for sure.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Raffaelia from the 10th to the 14th of September, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The hospitality shown by the owners from the moment we arrived was truly breathtaking, and their imagination shone through as we were surprised with delicious homemade cakes The apartment itself was a haven of cleanliness and comfort. The bright and sunny interior created an inviting and cozy atmosphere that immediately put us in the holiday mood. Care had obviously been taken to keep the space immaculate, which we greatly appreciated. Villa Raffaelia not only offers clean and comfortable accommodation but also goes beyond personalized attention. We felt like lovely guests throughout our visit, which added a special touch to our family holiday. If you are looking for a cozy and welcoming place, I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Rafailia. It really made our trip unforgettable
