Villa Martha was a beautiful villa in a picturesque setting.

Maybe the bathroom would benefit from a tiny refresh, but it didn't cause us any problems at all.

We particularly liked the atmosphere of the place and its hosts. It didn't feel we were staying at a hotel or pension, but more at somebody's house and we really appreciated it. The garden, with its mature trees spread around the property was very peaceful and relaxing. The personal advice on where to go on the island was very useful, since we stayed only 2 nights. We definitely recommend this place !

Everything was so nice. The garden and especially the pool is beautiful and the breakfast is really good too. We had some great days at Villa Martha, and will come back for sure.

Shower not a lot of pressure

We loved the pool and gardens so relaxing to sit have breakfast and lounge by the pool. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help with any bookings or arrangements

The road was busier and noisier than we expected - but so were all the roads on Spetses! This didn't spoil our stay and wouldn't put us off staying at Villa Martha again

The family and all of the staff at Villa Martha are amazing - always smiling, they made such a fuss of our baby boy and went above and beyond to help us look after him as well as assist with things like dinner reservations and taxis. We also really appreciated the daily room clean. The garden is stunning and such a pleasant sanctuary for escaping the heat! We looked forward to the buffet breakfast every morning and can recommend the delicious ice coffees, Greek salads, sandwiches and omlettes that you can order during the day.

A spare stock of sunbeds would be helpful to pull out at busy times. Balcony in our room was cramped, but glad we had one.

This is a beautiful, traditional Greek property which maintains a feel of earlier decades. The garden is delightful and so beautiful for eating breakdown in and relaxing by the pools. Air con good and bed super comfy and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was so good, plenty of wholesome foods and drinks. Staff so friendly and helpful, made to feel very welcome. Short walk to the old harbour and plenty of beautiful places to eat and drink to suit all budgets.

Beautiful gardens, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious simple breakfast and the best fresh orange juice ever. Very nice pool. Location was so close to the best beach on the island and the old harbour had the most elegant and beautiful restaurants.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The room was very clean, with view to a wonderful Mediterranean garden and a swimming pool. Highly recommended for families with children. Within 15 minutes walking distance from the center, but very close to beaches.

Super kind owners and the garden is absolutely lovely, great place for breakfast. It’s also not to far from the main town and the rooms are very spacious. I would revisit.

We adored Villa Martha. As you walked through the private gate you were greeted by a beautiful garden, there were tables and chairs on a patio, sun loungers by the beautiful pool - you could always find sun or shade. Drinks of any kind and light food were always available. The breakfast was perfect - eggs, cheese, meat, olives, tomatoes. Fresh orange juice. Yogurt, fruit & honey. Cereal. The room was basic but had everything you needed, the added touches of shampoo, conditioner & shower gel was excellent for us as we travel light with just hand luggage. The villa is 20mins walk to the ferry and centre of harbour. We found we preferred the old port for the evening restaurants and that was only 5-10mins and very few motor vehicles. The walk from old port to new is delightful. We had a quad bike for one day (very safe, very little on roads outside the port) to explore other beaches (local one 5mins from Villa) it was great fun. Three days was perfect for us could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Brilliant place - superb green outdoor space with a lovely swimming pool and breakfast/bar area. Room was good - high ceilings, nice balcony. A perfect retreat in a walled garden, 5 mins walk from the bars and restaurants of the old harbour and 5 mins from the nearest beach.

Great stay on Spetses!! This family run property is a gem. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The gardens and the setting are beautiful. The breakfast is good and the location is perfect for exploring the island, just a short walk to the charming old port and a great little beach.

Quite difficult to locate and quite a way out of town. A good job we enjoy walking! One seriously concerning issue is the number of motorbikes used on the island and the truly terrible way they are ridden, mainly by locals. A dangerous problem that the island authorities really do need to get a grip of. We appreciate that this is nothing to do with the property, however, they are likely to be able to feedback such concerns and potentially gain leverage on a solution.

Wonderful property grounds. Great facilities. Really ‘connected’ staff team, helpful and interested. Comfortable room, if rather small in terms of space to relax.

The villa was very beautiful and calm. We enjoyed staying in the garden in the evenings with glass of wine! A lot shaded and relaxing during the afternoon!
