Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBeautiful secure building in the heart of the old village. Very easy to walk to local tavernas, shops and beaches. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also superb. Didn't really want to leave!

United KingdomOur bed wasn’t the most comfortable- a bit small and exceedingly springy. There wasn’t enough seating round the pool.
This is a lovely villa right in the centre of the very attractive village of Panormos: you only have to walk a few steps to reach great places to eat: one excellent taverna ( George and Georgia) is practically next door. It’s quiet at nights, though. The shady courtyard is lovely for breakfast and sitting out in in the cool of the evening. The pool is surprisingly large and a great asset, especially when it’s windy and the sea a bit choppy. There are two little beaches , one either side of the harbour- one with loungers- both perfectly acceptable. The villa’s best asset, though is Janna, who makes the best fried eggs and looked after us splendidly, helping with luggage, car parking ( can be tricky) and anything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony in the early evening drinking our complementary cold red wine and people watching along the pedestrian street.

United KingdomWifi could be better in the ground floor apartment where we stayed.
Gorgeous old character villa, inside and out, perfectly located to take advantage of the tavernas, bars, shops etc. Both sisters who ran the villa, could not of been more helpful and also kept the villa spotlessly clean every day. The breakfast was superb.

United KingdomOur aircon didn't work for the first few days but was fixed as soon as it could be. A slight breeze from the mountains and a fan in the room made the heat bearable.
Villa Kynthia's location is great - in the centre of the village but not affected by noise. Housekeepers Yanna and Maria are absolute gems, creating a personal, warm and relaxed atmosphere. The pool is perfect.

United KingdomAir con wasn't working while we were there, so room was warm, but with celling fan and us becoming acclimatised to the weather, it became less of a problem as time went on. Hopefully it will be fixed for others soon as this was the only small negative which was far outweighed by the positives
Location was perfect, right in the middle of a gorgeous town with plenty of tavernas to eat at. Looked after by Yanna and Maria with delicious, fresh breakfast. The pool, peaceful and quiet to take a dip after a hot day. Close to the beach with shallow sea Room was quiet to get a good night's sleep. Added bonus of a veranda (Pandora room) to sit and have a nightcap (two pics show view from veranda) Recommend Angkyra by the harbour for good fish and a stunning sunset location next to the sea.

United KingdomNo issues.
Converted traditional house with unique rooms. Delightful host, fabulous breakfast in the shady courtyard area. Centrally located in this lovely village, the swimming pool was a bonus. Our room was split level with the bed on a mezzanine so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

United KingdomNothing. It was all lovely!
Breakfast was lovely - bread, tomatoes, sliced meat and cheese, yoghurt, nuts, cereal, honey, cake etc.. and the option for freshly cooked eggs and/or pancakes. Freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee. All served buffet style and eaten in the courtyard or the inside dining room if the weather isn't good enough. My room (Nefeli) was great - split level, with seating, dressing table and understairs wardrobe downstairs, and the bed, chest of drawers, fridge and TV up on the upper level. Bed was v comfy, and air con and ceiling fan kept it at a great temperature. The bathroom is not en suite, but it is only 1 step from the front door. It absolutely wasn't a problem. Yanna and Maria were amazing - sorted out any niggles, answered questions, arranged excursions, let me have breakfast early on the days I was out, arranged some laundry for me (there is no launderette in Panormo) and kept the property spotless. Yanna also made the best cheese pie!

We loved the place. The little courtyard was amazing, full of flowers and trees, it had a lot of shade during the day and calm atmosphere in the evenings and nights to relax. The pool anjoed mostly our kids. Pool and the area around was always clean and we had it mostly for our selfs. Breakfast was better than we expected, fresh juice, freshly baked pastries, fruits, omelets, eggs, cereals and more. Our room was comfortable and cool during the day. Cleaning service was excellent. Our host Jana was very nice and helpful in any possible way. I would definitely come back to this place. Panormo is a small village, peaceful and calm, but still has many great tavernas, bars and stores near the door steps. Beach was 2 min by walk and you can rent 2 sun-beds under an umbrella for 10 euro. Always plenty of them were available. Beach cofee-bar is just above the beach. It was very helpful to have a car, another great beach was only few minutes away by car.

AustriaLovely Villa Kynthia exceeded our expectations! The great hosts (Yanna and Maria) made our vacation rather special and we even stayed longer than originally planned. It's a wonderful place, the peace and quiet (except for the cicadas, if one is sensitive) of the yard make you enjoy your vacation at a whole different level: you can start the day with a sweet or savoury breakfast under the great pine tree, watching the swallows take a sip off the pool, sunbathe during the day, or have a swim, and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the lizards and bats catching insects under the lampposts in the evening. Panormos offers two little beaches and a variety of restaurants, it's nice and small, no party, no crowds, just tranquility!

Yanna and her sister, Maria are very welcoming and friendly hosts who couldn't do more for you. The villa is very atmospheric, clean and spacious (we were in Odysseus and enjoyed a nightcap on our balcony every evening and appreciated the clothes drying racks there). Breakfast was generous and excellent (omelette, pancakes, fresh juice and so much more). The courtyard was a pretty space for breakfast and a picnic lunch, and an evening swim in the pool became our cooling routine before bed. We didn't want to leave. Highly recommended.
