We really loved Villa Joanna, the surroundings, the staff and the peace. Recommend a stay here in Zante to leave the real Greek essence and clear winds. Beautiful place immersed in nature. Great host as well, helped us live an excellent experience in the Island. 10/10!

We requested a double bed and it wasn't possible; we only got twin beds. The furniture is quite rustic. There are too few amenities provided. I don't expect a 5* hotel reception, but I do expect at least shower gel and a bottle of water. We have received dishwasher liquid to clean the dishes/glasses, but no shower gel... Wifi was very slow, if you care about it - 9 Mbs download / 0.8 Mbs upload

If you want to stay in Vasilikos, the location is very good: about 300 m from the main road, it's very quiet, surrounded by olive trees. Also close (by car - about 5 minutes) to 3 beaches: Banana, Gerakas and St. Nicolas. But definitely you need a car if you want to stay here. Very nice outside space, you can relax in the evening.

The cleaning started a little early, due to the time difference, our time is between 8:00-10:00, it would be worth cleaning between 11:00-13:00 local time, but this is understandable, as it is the hottest time of the day, and cleaning cannot be expected at that time. So it is worth leaving the accommodation early and you can return to a wonderfully clean room. The cleaning lady is extremely kind and precise.

Everything was perfect, the location, as it was close to the sea, several beaches, excellent restaurants, shops, everything was easily accessible on foot. The host is very kind, they clean every day, cleanliness, extremely beautiful view and the garden itself is a magical fairy tale. They paid attention to every little thing, it felt like I was in a little piece of heaven. I would like to come back here again.

I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for quiet and peace. The villa is basically located in the middle of an olive grove. It is so peaceful at night. Yet, mini markets and tavernas are just 5 min away.

The only thing that I did not like is that the mattress was very hard. It affected our quality of sleep. My 13-year old was unaffected by her single bed.

The villa is beautifully and quietly situated in an olive grove. The garden is caringly tended to. We were in the ground floor #1 apartment. The apartment was spacious, had AC in both bedrooms, and two terraces. The terrace facing the sea was perfect for our morning breakfast in the shade. A sweet cat visited us repeatedly throughout our stay. The kitchen had all necessary basics. The apartment was cleaned on most days, and we got fresh sheets and towels once during our 8-day stay. Dennis was lovely and addressed any issues immediately. There are several good restaurants and one excellent bakery with great coffee within walking distance. With a rental car it was easy to get around to the various beaches.

I really liked the view of the sea and the terrace, it is very close to Gerakas Beach, we went almost every morning to see if there are little turtle (carretta carretta) hatchlings.

The location without the car is really challenging. There is a bus stop nearby but the bus is not trustworthy.

We had 2 balconies with a very beautiful views. A/C is a strong advantage as well. Without it, it’s impossible to handle this weather. Despite that, this room was really price worthy. We had everything what we needed to stay for a week. We managed to prepare simply meals as well. There are shops and restaurants nearby and really beautiful beaches which You can reach walking.

There were mosquitoes, but Dennis provided me with a device to plug in and it was sorted out easily (since I prefer sleeping with the window / door open).

The villa is very nicely placed amongs olive gardens, 5 min from the main road. My balcony had an awesome view to the sea. The room had everything you needed (the shower space was a little tight, but manageable) and it was all very quiet and peaceful (if you don't count the cicadas). Dennis was super helpful and kind, he helped me with early check in, the taxi on my way back, a shortcut to the beach and answers to all the questions I had. This is excellent for a quiet retreat, great places to eat around (Babbis Tavern and Tranakas Bakery are a must!), even if you don't have a car. There was no light on the road to the villa at night, but the phone light was enough. I totally recommend the beautiful quiet Plaka Beach - my favorite, where I stayed mostly at Puntas Bravas terrace. Definitely a great choice for a peaceful stay and holiday! And yes, very good value for money as well.

Dennis was a great host, responded promptly to all communication and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean, with a small kitchen - great balcony with views. It was very quiet, which we wanted, yet it was very close to local shop/tavernas/coffee and beaches. The apartment was cleaned daily (by lovely friendly lady) and the bedding and towels were changed every other day.

There were 2 things that I would recommend to improve: install insect nets and offer laundry service (one washing machine for the whole building maybe, even for extra charge per laundry). For long stays like ours it would be extremely comfortable ^^ As for the nets, I was afraid of mosquito invasion and Dennis brought anti-mosquito liquid. Honestly, not any insects or mosquitos bothered us in the room during our stay, but still for entomophobic people like me, it would create a nice feeling of safety.

We loved nearly everything about the Villa Joanna, especially location that is close to beautiful beaches, tavernas, supermarket and at the same time it is secluded in a quiet area, where guests can relax and sleep peacefully. Special thanks to Dennis for his care and understanding, he was super responsive to our requests, he really did his best to make us feel happy. I'd read in some other comments that towels were not changed regularly, in fact we got them changed every third day, but I am sure if we asked, they would change them even daily - that is not really necessary. We had no complaints about wifi as well, it worked very well in our room. The view from our balcony was amazing, will miss it a lot.

- we had two balconies with sea view and mountain view - friendly and helpful staff - it is located at 10-20 minutes of four nice beaches, the closest being at 10 minutes walk through olive grove - stores and tavernas are at 5 minutes walk from the property - the maintenance of the room is done daily - the child bed was provided as requested
