Everything was very nice, we really enjoyed our stay here, but here are some things to know before you book: - as mentioned, the villa in not in the center, so it will take you cca. 20 minutes on foot to go to the supermarket. We really enjoy walking, but considering the smoldering heat....you have to plan your trips to the supermarket. - the bathrooms are very small. I had no problem with that, I thought it was part of the charm of being at the seaside, but it might be a problem, maybe, for other people - the villa is right on the main road (which is very small), but still you have to expect some noise from the traffic. Again - it was ok with me, but...maybe bring earplugs, just in case

The Villa is very nice and clean, I think it was renovated in 2024. It is done in good taste, has large beds and great views of the sea and the surroundings. Bonus point for the elevator (new and nice), it is always a good thing not to carry your big luggage on the stairs. The staff was really nice and helpful - we borrowed some plates and cutlery and they let us do a late check-out. The rooms have AC, a must in summer in Greece, refrigerators and nice balconies, some (like mine was) with a wonderful sea view. The cleaning lady was also very nice and always smiling. Our towels were changed daily. I really liked the fact that the villa is not in the center, where all the restaurants and noise and big heat is. It is a 20 minute walk from the center, which I found to be very good for us. Right across the hotel (literally a 10 seconds walk :-) is a wonderful restaurant, with amazing views and breeze, very nice staff, placed right on the water. Highly recommended. You also have a bike and ATV rental place just 3 minutes away from the villa. The nearest beach was also the nicest one, in my opinion - it is the Mikro Neorio Bay, a very small but well organized beach, with extraordinary clean water. Just a recommendation - they do serve food and drinks here, but the quality is very low so...maybe just order in case of emergency, like I did :-) very nice staff here too, and the price for 2 sunbeds with umbrella and a table to put your stuff on was 12 euros (cheaper than the Russian bay, where they asked for 20 euros!). We explored the other beaches and they were all very nice (especially liked the Lovers Bay), but Mikro Neorio is the closest one to the villa and very nice.

Welcoming and helpful hosts, great location. We had a garden view but it was also very nice: mountains all around, lemon and orange trees. Comfortable beds and good quality of bath amenities.

The bathroom door could do with some love. It's a sliding door and it's a bit slanted so that even if you close it fully there still is a considerable gap towards the bottom which lets scents leak out.

Nice clean place. I appreciated that they provided an extra bed for a person that joined our trip after I had already booked. There's a parking spot nearby, two taverns and a mini beach literally across the street, and it's just 1 km away from the port.

Villa Irene was great value and very clean. The room is basic but had a fridge and air con which was all we needed. We had a nice balcony area and en-suite. The staff were friendly and so helpful on reception. Good location and beautiful beach just a few minutes walk. Very pleasant 15-20 minute walk into the main harbour area.

We are not fussy guests, and of course given the very reasonable prices you have to expect only basic facilities but the mattresses really need replacing, they were very uncomfortable. The room was very small, and the bathroom rather dated.

The location was nice, right across the road from the water, and an easy walk into town and walking distance to a couple of beaches. Nice to have a view of the sea as well, even from the side. Staff were very welcoming, kind and accommodating. Room was very compact but was was clean, with everything you need including fridge, kettle, tea and coffee. Good air con was greatly appreciated too! Overall for the cheap price it was good.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The beds were very noisy — every movement caused creaking sounds that made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the strong perfume or air freshener used in the rooms and hallways triggered my asthma, making my stay uncomfortable.

The bed was the most UNCOMFORTABLE bed I've slept in! I had to ask for several more pillows to try and create another matress for comfort! The owner did accommodate this - but the apartments were quiet - not sure what we would have done, had they been full as it really was very uncomfortable.

The apartment was lovely. We had a lovely sea view and a little balcony to enjoy it from. The room was adequate. Good air con - needed! Just across the road from a lovely restaurant. A 10 minute walk to a fab beach. Poros is a lovely island with very friendly people. The main harbour is quite a walk from the apartment. Other reviews have said within walking distance - but if you are a little older or have some mobility issues - it wouldnt be possible. We did walk it and it took us about 20 mins. It is a flat walk though. We hired quad bikes just down the road from a very helpful owner - a must for exploring the island! Ferry's go to Hydra and other islands from Poros and you are but a water taxi from the mainland. We were almost out of season and it was lovely and quiet - but still bars and restaurants open, especially in the harbour. We had a lovely time on Poros and would go back again.

It looked very nice when we arrived, but there was no one on reception. A woman with cleaning equipment showed us to our room - then took off on her motorbike. The room was clean but basic. The lights above the beds were bare bulbs and there were holes in the wall where wiring went in. The room was very cramped, even though we just had backpacks. The taps were old fashioned and there was no plug in the sink. But the main concern was security. The door just had a push button lovk on the inside - I have something similar in our main bathroom and I can open it with a hairpin (have had to do so when kids got locked in). The coffee-making facilities were a kettle and two sachets of Nescafe, place on a fridge right next to one of the beds. There was no room on the fridge to put anything else, and only a small bedside table between the two beds. Given that there was no one on reception, we took our passports etc to the beach as it seemed safer. Nor was there anyone on reception the next morning so we gave our key to the cleaning lady.

It was c;lose to a lovely beach (not sure whether it was Kanali, it had loungers and umbrellas) and opposite the villa was a great restaurant, the White Cat

Disappointing experience compared to the pictures. The sea view was not available from the window, but only from a small corner of the balcony. The room (close to the stairs) was noisy, the staff was always missing, one of the bedroom lamps was broken, and the cleanliness was far from optimal. Overall, not a good value for money, despite a great location in Poros.
