Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe breakfast selection was a bit limited compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. The bathroom was a bit dated, and the shower would only work by us holding the shower head, it wouldn’t attach to the wall. The curtains were also quite light so the bedroom got bright early in the morning.
The hotel itself is beautiful with a lovely pool and bar area, as well as direct access to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and let us stay a bit later when checking out, and also helped us to book a quad. The room was cosy and had a nice authentic Greek charm. We loved that you could order drinks and lunch directly to your sun lounger at the pool or on the beach. The location is lovely, while the area is a bit quiet at night, there are nice restaurants and bars near by.

United KingdomThey do not serve dinner, so you always need to go out. This is fine as we always were out except on one occasion we had an early morning and would have loved to be able to eat without going anywhere. However, we were able to get a delivery which the receptionist organised, and it was absolutely delicious. We would have loved for some shade to be on our balcony as we found it very hot. But saying this, there were only a couple of occasions we would have used it.
The location of the hotel is amazing. There are a lot of things around but it is not too busy. We are a family with a small child so decided to stay by the sea. We had a relaxing time. The staff are fantastic. Christina, who works on the front desk, could not do enough for us, helping us with anything needed. They kindly added in a cooking plate for us to cook for our young daughter. The pool overlooks the sea. The use of the beach chairs and waiter service around the pool or at the sea was such an added bonus. They also provide beach towels daily for your use. Breakfast was delicious, simple yet catered for everyone. The coffee was very good. The rooms are basic but perfect. They also provided us with toiletries. It was very traditional, and the view from our balcony was wonderful. We also had an additional 2 loungers on our balcony and also a table and chairs to sit and enjoy in the evening. I spoke to the hotel on a few occasions before our visit, and they helped with all our queries and again couldn't do enough to help us. We loved it and have decided to already return based on our stay.

United KingdomNothing to dislike at all. From a constructive point of view, the hotel could do with a little update as looking a bit tired, but this didn't spoil our stay at all.
The staff were really lovely, and dealt with any query promptly, with a smile. It was never too busy and you could always get a sunbed by the pool or the beach at any time of the day ... no towel-on-the-beds culture which was refreshing!! The hotel was small with a 'family-run' feel to it, with no reps, loud music or 'activities' going on. A lovely place to just relax ❤️

Second time staying here and it was just a special as the first time. The sea view rooms are clean, perfectly sized and well appointed, we particularly enjoyed making use of the terrace in the evenings. The availability of food and drink to order to the beach is great, and the staff all work hard to make everything pleasant.

FinlandThe hotel has a nice location next to the Perissa - Perivolos beach street. Just across the street is the beach. There are free sunbeds for hotel clients. It was very easy and nice to order drinks and snacks to a sunbed with your phone. The staff was friendly and nice. Nearest markets with some groceries are few hundreds meters away. There are several restaurants to choose around the area. The beach is quite long mostly with coarse, dark sand. The hotel itself is a typical Greek three star hotel, with a quite nice basic+ breakfast. I'll give one extra point to the very nice staff and cleaners. My room and the hotel area was very tidy. If you want to make a small hike, you can walk over the hill to Kamari via ancient Thira. On the Kamari side of the hill, if you choose the path instead of road, there is a small, quite hidden church with a small cave with a small spring. On the Perissa side there is another church, which is not typically open. The path is rocky, and quite exhausting on a hot day. Few years ago I walked from ancient Thira to a monastry on the hill, too, but the path seemed to be lessen used.

United KingdomThe shower is small so the shower curtain sticks to you whilst showering. The second room we had the double bed was up against the wall on the one side and that’s not what we like out of choice. However, we had a good nights sleep and the bed was comfortable
This is the second one night stay that we have had here and the property is well located and very clean

The staff were so helpful and friendly, we felt right at home! The Villa and pool itself were beautiful and so ideal having a private beach area across the road! Food from the hotel was great and could be ordered to your sunbed. Location was perfect for both walking to restaurants in local area and getting transport to surrounding towns. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were sad to leave!
