Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaThe hotel is not located on a beautiful beach — the shore is rocky right before entering the sea, and the water does not have that nice blue color you would expect. The lunch food was mediocre, with only a few fast-food style options available. We also had an unpleasant experience regarding a change in our booking. Right at check-in, I informed the reception and a gentleman from the office that I needed to shorten my stay by one night and asked if they could refund the last night. They told me they had checked with their reservations department and that if Booking approved, they would refund me. After I received Booking’s approval, they changed their position, saying it was a misunderstanding in wording on their part and that according to their policy they would not refund the night. While I understand it was within their rights, I was disappointed by their duplicity. I had informed them from the very beginning (at check-in, not during or after the stay), and they made me waste time going back and forth with Booking. To make things worse, before Booking’s approval they placed the blame on Booking, but once the approval was received, they shifted and refused.
The hotel is new, and you can really tell. The rooms are digital, which I really liked. The room we had was spacious, with a comfortable king-size bed and an additional sofa. It was well-equipped with all the facilities you might need. The pool was also nice. The breakfast and the food served in the evening was good. The beach bar have a variety of drinks and they serve fast.

MexicoThere was a problem with the entrance reader of my room and was not repaired at all during my stay at the hotel. Breakfast was very good but any liquid you request from water to coffee or beer has to be paid separately, I believe you can keep that payment for alcoholic beverages and include the water or coffee already on the price of your stay.
Great attitude form staff. The pool in the room had a very nice size. You may easily go to some interesting cities like Channia during the day.

United KingdomBuffet and restaurant food could be improved with more fresh offerings cooked on premises. Annoying lack of drinking water at dinner unless you purchase some.
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very modern and well-designed. Soundproofing between rooms is exceptional - slept very well here. Sea breeze takes the edge off the heat during the day.

RomaniaExcept the neighbor from the eastern side of the hotel area which polluted the ambient with his diesel power generator form time to time and which is something the hotel has no blame, the only annoying thing was the air conditioning unit from within the room. Besides being a typical indoor unit, the type you will find it in a motor-home and in contrast with the surrounding high tech, the device is not speaking the same language with the super intelligent room controlling unit which does the control of anything inside the room. The set temperature has no effect on the functioning of the unit and as a consequence it will run without any stop. Except during the day when it stops after first 60 minutes of running even if the timer theoretically in your control is in off state. During the night it doesn't stop unwillingly. Trying to set it to 25°C it cools up to the limit of the thermal insulation of the room, displaying 23°C when outside is above 35°C. This may look comfortable but the feeling was like inspiring freezing air in your lungs. I managed to reduce the torment setting the machine on dry mode. There's also a remote control for that indoor unit but I believe that the room extraordinary smart universal control unit spoils somehow the working cycle of the whole thing. The reception staff tried to help and said that the unit was reviewed by a technician but for no avail. I believe it's a design mishap trying to integrate that model of a/c unit with the almighty room control unit. By the way. Beware that control unit senses when the room is populated or not. No chance to leave the a/c running when you're out.
With direct access to the beach and having a private (concession) stretch of it, this newest piece of Vantarakis collection of 5 stars hotels is an excellent spot to either base your entire stay in only one spot or explore the beautiful area of Georgioupolis. If you wish to change from time to time the dinner atmosphere you only have to walk 3-4 minutes to one of the typical taverns from the Kourna village. The breakfast selection is more than plenty and very varied bringing satisfaction to any particular taste. For people renting a car there's no stress with the parking spot. The beach is fitted with sunbeds and umbrellas the only inconvenient being the need to move your sunbed, not too bulky but better doing that in two, to catch your umbrella's shadow. But only when "your" shadow is not already taken by people around you. A more rarefied disposition of umbrellas would had be a better choice.

United KingdomAlthough food options vary across days for dinner and they are good-quality, options are relatively limited compared to other 5-star hotels in the island we did stay. Breakfast is the same on each day. Lunch and snacks menu were much more limited in terms of options. Except for the main restaurant, there is only one small ala carte restaurant only for the dinner. +Not sure it is a good value for money. Although drinks pricing is reasonable, I didn’t like the idea of paying extra even for water in dinners (in half-board packages).
Comfort of the rooms was exceptional along with many smart control features for A/C, lights, curtains etc. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We also did love the sunset views.

PolandThey are having some teething issues - opened a few months ago - but nothing to worry about. No complaints.
A great place at the beach. A fantastic hotel design, superb food, friendly staff, well-equipped hotel gym, a spa (which we didn’t have time to use), a very comfortable beach access. The hotel is brand new, they opened in the summer the previous year. The hotel was rather quiet probably due to the time of our stay which was at the very beginning of the season, the very first days in May.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel is brand new, beautiful and clean. Rooms are quite large, nicely decorated and have high tech features such as automatic curtains. The food was excellent and of higher quality than other comparable hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their services really stands out. The beach is great and the beach beds are very comfortable.

United KingdomThe sea entrance is a bit stony, so beach shoes might come in handy, but it soon gives way to lovely, clean sand and clear water. The mattress was a little firm for my taste.
The staff were fantastic-friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The external areas are attractive and thoughtfully designed. A long beachfront provides a perfect setting for walks, complemented by a beach bar and comfortable sunbeds for lounging. Buffet breakfast and dinner include a wide variety of options, and live music during some dinners adds to the pleasant atmosphere. A small on-site shop adds convenience for guests.
